Hey everybody I have a new project today and an update on why I have been absent again. Shortly before Christmas I started to have some trouble with my left foot and leg. I have been going to the doctor and having tests done. I have been diagnosed with drop foot which means basically that sometimes my foot doesn't bend like it should when I walk. So I will be having surgery Wednesday to release the pressure on the nerve that is causing the drop foot. This means 10 days at home recovering and hopefully lots of card making time.
Today's projects is something that I got inspiration from on the Elizabeth's Crafts page. At first I thought this was a stamp but it is actually a peel off sticker. I adhered the sticker to a piece of Bristol smooth white water color paper. I used my Kuretake Zig Real Color Markers to color. Unfortunately I didn't write down the colors I used but I can tell you about the technique I used.
I put the color down and then used my Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle pen to blend the color like you would using water except you get so much more SPARKLE! The card base is from a value package I bought at my local Michael's . The sentiments are from Unity Stamp Co., the one on the front is from the January Kit of the Month and says "once you choose hope anything is possible'. The inside was a free sentiment from Unity and it says "find joy in the journey", which I forgot to take a picture of. The embellishments are sequins and a small heart from my stash of stuff.
Thank you for stopping by and creating with me
Andi
