Friends Never Fade

Hey Stampers!  Happy Thursday!  I am bringing you a card today that features two stamp companies that I am in love with. The saying is from the Friendship set from Craftin’ Desert Divas. The images are from the Busy Bees set from Honey Bee stamps. The card base is from Recollections it is the second to last dark color in the Oceans value pack. I stamped the sentiment and the images in Memento black ink.   Colored with my Copic markets, I unfortunately didn’t write down what colors I used but I can tell you for sure on a couple   The yellow flowers and the bees were colored using Y08, Y13, and Y15. The leaves and stems are G14, 21, and 24. The flower centers are E31,33, and 35. I used glossy accents on the centers after I added some dot detail with my white Signo Gel
Pen. I added clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen on the bees wings and the flower petals. That is my card for today. I hope you like it. Thanks for stopping by. Come and create something with me.

Enjoy Liberty

Hey Stampers!  Happy Wednesday!  I can't believe it is the end of May already.  In my part of the country (Iowa) it is hot already which don't get me wrong is better than the cold but I was hoping for more Spring. As we say goodbye to May and move into June, we are getting closer to one of my favorite holidays.  I love the 4th of July.  I love the fireworks, the food, the time with family...all of it.  Growing up we would go to my Dad's aunts house and the whole family would  come and everyone would bring food, it was crazy the amount of food that
we had every year! My uncles and cousins would always put on a fireworks show for us and that is where my love for the "pretty" fireworks began.  Today's card is similar to last week's and I am sorry about that but when it comes to the 4th of July, I am very traditional with my color choices.  The top photo is the finished card, covered in my jeweled bling from the Eyelet Outlet and proudly touting the red, white, and blue.  ( I just picked up the finished card and made the bling sparkle in the light...lol).  The second picture is a close up of my finished card again trying to get a good angle on the sparkle and
finally the last photo is the back of the card showing it stamped with theprojectbin.com from the new Hand Made set.  I used Love Letter Memento Luxe ink, Pacific Point by Stampin' UP!, Red, White, and Boom stamp set, jeweled bling in red and blue.  The card base is 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2 and is side folding card.  I used a piece of School house Red from Simon Says Stamp as a border around the stamped piece and that is it for the card for today.  I hope you enjoyed today's card and will check out these sets as well as all the wonderful products at The Project Bin.  Thank you for stopping by.

RED, WHITE, AND BOOM

Hey Stampers!  Happy Wednesday and welcome to another project brought to you by The Project Bin.  If you follow me on Instagram, you probably recognize this card.  Last weekend, The Project Bin partnered with Eyelet Outlet for an Instagram hop.  This was my first hop on IG and it was great fun.

So my card today, is obviously 4th of July themed.  I LOVE the fireworks that explode into colors and the bigger the better and because of that I tried to create that with my card.  I used the set Red, White, and Boom from The Project Bin and all the bling comes from the Eyelet Outlet.  The images are stamped in Love Letter Memento Luxe ink and Pacific Point ink from Stampin'UP!  The firework bursts are randomly stamped in the Pacific Point ink and the sentiment is stamped in Love Letter ink.
I adhered the focal image to piece of Lipstick Red card from Simon Says Stamp but because I adhered it without trimming you can't see it...sorry! Then I took the red, clear, and blue crystals I received from the Eyelet Outlet for participating in the hop and went to town.  This is the closest I thing I can get to fireworks on a card.  I wish you could see how they sparkle in real life.  I will sometimes pick up this card and tilt to watch it bling.  lol.

So a pretty quick and easy card that could be made into cards or even invitations for a 4th of July party.  I hoped you liked today's project and will check out not only The Project Bin but Eyelet Outlet for the stamps and embellishments I used today.

Thank you for stopping by.  Come and create something wtih me,

You are Classic

Hey Stampers!  Happy Wednesday.  Hope everyone is having a great day!  We are finally getting sunshine and nice weather so I am pretty happy.  Today's card uses the Classic Man set and a brand new set called Hand Made which is the perfect compliment for any card maker.  You can personalize the backs of your cards like Hallmark but better.

I stamped the car image on light grey card stock with Love Letter Memento Luxe ink. I used the "you put the class in classic" sentiment.  I framed the focal point with red shimmer card stock from Crafter's Companion and my card base is a dark grey card stock.  I love how the red pops off the card.  On the inside I stamped "Happy Father's Day" and of course I made a mistake and had to  cover it with the same red shimmer and light grey card stock and adhered it over my mistake.

Finally I stamped "hand made just for you" on the back
bottom corner.  This set has some really great personalizes you can use  This card came together very quickly.  I hope  you liked today's card and you take a minute to check out these sets and the other amazing products at The Project Bin.

Also  this weekend, The Project Bin Team is partnering with EyeletOutlet and we are doing a hop on Instagram.  The hop is going all weekend so stayed tuned here and on Instragram because there will some fantastic cards and ideas as well as prizes.  Thank you for stopping by. (and check out the button below for the info for the IG hop.  Come and create something wtih me.

Deer Mom

Hey Stampers! Happy Wednesday!  Hope everyone is having a great week and that you are prepared for Mother's Day which is this coming Sunday.  To highlight that occasion, I am using the Deer Mom set from The Project Bin.  I love all the sentiments in this set but for  today's card, I used "Deer Mom, Thanks to you, I turned out awesome."  I used the deer image that comes in the set.  I used a piece of teal card stock from my stash along with a piece of pattern paper that was on my desk that was a nice contrast to the teal with white hearts on it.  I thought the focal point was too stark white so I took some Vintage Photo Distress ink and edged the white piece and the base to give it a weathered look.  To be honest, I wasn't sure I liked this card at first but I was almost done and wasn't starting over.  I adhered everything together with my ATG gun and to add
a little bit of sparkle, I add some Honey Gold Nuvo Glitter Drops to the three corners.  On the inside, I simply stamped, I love you!

So I hope you like today's card and will check out this and all the fabulous stamps available from The Project Bin.  Thank you for stopping by.

Hats Off

Hey Stampers!  I don’t know about you but I am so glad today is Friday. It has been a long week. So I have gotten several stamp packages in the last few weeks. One package was from Honey Bee Stamps. I purchased some things when they were having their birthday sale.  Two of the sets I got were Congrats Grad and Penny the Platypus . I will be honest I got Penny set because of the graduation cap. I didn’t even look at any other images so I was pleasantly surprised to see a lot of other images I can use.

Today’s card features both of the above sets. A coworker is graduating from college today and I made this card for the office to give to her and used the colors of the college she is graduating from.

I took a piece of red card stock from my stash, I think it might be Real Red from Stampin’ UP!  but I am not 100% sure. I cut the piece to just under 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I took the graduation cap and stamped it in a random pattern with VersaFine black ink and covered it with clear embossing powder. I heat set those images. I let it cool for a minute and then I took the diploma image and stamped it in the open spaces; heat embossing them as well. When embossing multiple images at different times be careful that you don’t put the heat too long on the images you already embossed.

I set aside the focal panel to cool. In the meantime, I cut a piece of black shimmer paper from my stash, to show just a small border around the red piece. My card base is made from one of the gray shades from the Recollections Storm Cloud paper pack. Once I had my layers adhered to the card base I stamped “Hats off to You” on a white piece of card stock framing it with a piece of the black shimmer paper. I adhered it across the card and added a Silver Glossy Dots on either side of the sentiment.  On the inside I stamped “Congratulations on your Graduation “. I love how this card turned out and hopefully she will too.  Check out Honey Bee Stamps for these stamps and a ton more. Thanks for stopping by.

Classic Not Old

Hey Stampers!  Happy Wednesday!  I have a card today using a new release from The Project Bin called Classic Man.  I am going to confess something to all of you.....masculine cards are my weakness.  I don't have a lot of "guy" stamp sets or even images so when Denise sent me this one I was so very excited.  I love the car image in this set and there are a TON of wonderful sentiments that you can use for all cards but are perfect for a dad, brother, son, or male friend. The font on the sentiments is perfect as well.    The card stock I used on my card comes from a Recollections paper pack that I got from my local Michael's.  It is called Storm Clouds and is 110# weight.  I used the lightest gray to stamp the image and the sentiment in Night of Navy from Stampin' UP!   I was stuck for a moment because as I said I don't have a lot of masculine supplies so I was digging through my stash looking for patterned paper and stumbled across some of my Lawn Fawn paper from the Perfectly Plaid Winter (which is no longer available).  The piece I used is white and gray plaid and I think is the perfect compliment to the other card stock. I cut the focal image and the patterned paper using my oval die set from Kat Scrappiness. I used the second largest die for the image and the largest die from the patterned paper. I adhered the image to the patterned paper with foam tape and then attached it to the base with my ATG gun.    The card base is A2 size and made from the darkest of the grays in the Storm Clouds paper collection.  I stamped "Happy Birthday" inside in the same Night of Navy ink.  I added a total of five Silver Glossy Dots to complete the image.

I hope you enjoyed my card for today and thank you for stopping by.  I hope if you are like me and struggle with masculine cards you pop over to The Project Bin and check this set out.
