Hey Stampers! Happy Wednesday! I hope everyone is having an amazing day! Here in Iowa, we are a little toasty but better than being cold, right???? Anyway onto today's projects, I am using a brand new set from The Project Bin called Many More. This set is so great, it has birthday, get well, thank you, welcome baby, and congratulations sentiments. So today I made a couple of "mini" cards. The finished cards measure 2 3/4 x 4. The card is made from a base of 4 x 5 1/2. The pattern paper is a piece of pre-embossed dot paper that I covered with Salty Ocean Distress Ink. I colored the little party hats with a red and blue marker. The twine is some Doodlebug Twine that I had in my stash. I used some jewels from stash also that I think match perfect with the Salty Ocean ink. The sentiment is stamped on white card stock that I cut with a die cut from the MFT Blueprints Tag Builder 3. The inside says Happy Birthday and Many More! My second mini is the same size just horizontal. I used the same patterned paper. I stamped the get well image and sentiment and colored the image with Y13, Y15, and YR24. I took my B000 to soften the white and smoothed it out with my colorless blender. I used the same twine and die cut. The die cut is the full die cut this time, on the last card I only used about 3/4 of the die. My embellishments are dots of glitter using Nuvo Glitter Accents in Atlantic Drift. The inside is stamped with Feel Better Soon. These little cards are perfect for a quick gift bag or to tuck in a bag of comfort food for your sick friend.
I love these mini cards and will be making a bunch more. I hope you will take a minute and visit The Project Bin web site. Denise is now offering a free downloadable catalog and she offers amazing stamp sets. So this is my project for today I hope you liked it. Thank you for stopping by.
Come and create something with me.
