In case you go missing!

Happy Thursday!  Today's card is one that made for a co worker who turned 22.  First I love these Crazy Birds from Tim Holtz and I also purchased the matching dies.  I used my Zig Clean Brush tip markers to color him.  I used Yellow, Bright yellow, Orange, and Light Gray.  I used the coordinating die and cut him out.  I made a pretty simple card.  I used a strip of the Cherry on Top card stock from Stampin' UP!  The sentiment is from Riley & Co, I bought several of these kinds of sentiments.  Makes me giggle every time I look at it.  I popped the bird on foam tape.  I used my clear Wink of Stella on the bird.  I call him Melvin....don't know why.  I took the light gray marker and drew in some ground so he didn't look like he was just floating.  Thanks for stopping by.

Halloween Goodies for work.

Just wanted to do a quick post to show what I did for my husband and I's coworkers for Halloween.  We work at the same car dealership and I made last month's Paper Pumpkin from Stampin' UP!  I wish I would have ordered more of these!  This is the first Paper Pumpkin in a while that did exactly what I was suppose to with the project....mostly.  I apologize this picture isn't very good.  I wasn't thinking and didn't take any up close photos.  But what I did was took the outside piece for the treat bag and stamped the witches hat that is in the stamp set that comes in this kit.  The greeting I used is one I picked up at a local craft store.  It is small locally own shop and I love it.  If you live in the Omaha/Council Bluffs area check out Busy Scrappin'.  These ladies are lovely.  The sentiment says "Some Days I'm Extra Witchy".  Love it.  The brooms went to some of the ladies I work with and everyone else got a variation of the little guy below.  I used Lawn Fawn's pillow box die and the additional die called Peek a Bat.  I made roughly 45 of these little guys and filled them with two fun size candy bars.  These goodies were huge hits with everyone.  Stop back by as I will be posting projects using the goodies from my Stamp of Approval box.  Thanks for stopping by.

My SOA reveal

Hey Stampers,

Just wanted to share some excitement.  I received my very first Stamp of Approval box yesterday.  I was out of town so I was too tired to do anything with it.  However I busted it open this morning. I have to say I LOVE THIS BOX!!!  First here is a group picture.  Below are close-ups.

You receive FIVE full size stamp sets, one sentiment die to cut out Happy Holidays, one small die set that coordinates with the Bright Baubles set and finally a large die set that coordinates with the Bring on the Snowflakes set.  In addition to all the fantastic stamp and die sets that you receive a PDF file for inspiration from the SOA design team. Forty nine pages of inspiration with step by step instructions on what was used and how to re-create it along with color photos.  Catherine Pooler doesn't just promise something awesome....she delivers.  I need to finish my Halloween projects and then I will be doing a TON of projects with this box.  The ideas are endless.  Unfortunately, this box is already sold out but the link I provided will get you to the site so you can get on the wait list for the next the box.  Stay tuned for more.  Thanks for stopping by.
