Hey Stampers! Happy Wednesday! Can you believe it is the last day of February already, one day closer to Spring. I am ready. . Today’s card uses the Spring Zen set from The Project Bin. I used the egg image and colored it with my Zig Real Brush markers and instead of blending with water, I used my clear Sparkle pen from Spectrum Noir. The sparkle is amazing with this technique. I probably should tell you that I stamped the image with Ranger Archival ink and covered it with clear embossing powder. Once my eggs were all colored up, I fussy cut them out.
The card base was made using a pre-made soft yellow A2 card base. I took my oval died from Kat Scrappiness and used the third largest die. I cut the base making sure to hang the left side over to give me a flat edge. To make it so the eggs didn’t look like they were floating I cut a mask with a little curve in it and took some Distress Oxide Inks Cracked Pistachio, Twisted Citron, and Peeled Paint to give me a grassy hill. I attached the eggs with foam squares. I stamped the sentiment “happy Easter” in the black archival ink in a white piece of card stock, fish tailed the one end, dusted the edges with Wild Honey and attached with foam dots. The last touch was the addition of some of the rainbow glossy dots from Pink and Main. I am so in love with this dots. They are so shiny in real life. I didn’t put anything inside of the card so I could write a note.
So that is my card for today, I hoped you enjoyed it and will check out The Project Bin for this set and whole lot more.

Kiss Winter Goodbye
Hey Stampers! Happy Wednesday! It is hard to believe we are almost to the end of February, which means spring is coming! Today's card is a 4-bar card using a brand new set from The Project Bin called Spring Zen. I am loving this set. This will be used a lot for spring and Easter cards. This didn't come out exactly as I envisioned but I am happy with the end result. I did a background using my Distress Oxide inks from Tim Holtz. I used Wild Honey, Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, and Twisted Citron. I cut my background into three pieces. The tulip is stamped on the Picked Raspberry and Spice Marmalade section and stamped my tulip in Memento Tuxedo black. I used foam tape to adhere that panel to center of the card. Then I took the Wild Honey and adhered it to the left side just a little underneath the panel and I did the same thing on the right with the Twisted Citron panel. I took my Spectrum Noir clear sparkle pen and did some droplets on the tulip. I stamped the sentiment in Cracked Pistachio The sentiment and the card base are edged in the Cracked Pistachio. I hope you enjoy today's card and check out The Project Bin for this set and ton of other amazing stamp sets. Thanks for stopping by.

You Drive Me Glazy
Hey Stampers! Happy Valentine's Day and my last day in my Valentine's series. I am sorry that I have been absent but my house was hit with the flu and I have been down pretty much since last Thursday.
So today's card uses Hole Foods from The Project Bin. I am so in love with these donuts. Funny story, I was working on these donuts a few weeks ago and I wasn't sure about the colors so I sent pictures to my friend Susan and she helped me pick out the better color scheme and then she says to me "Dang it, now I want a donut!" I thought that was a pretty good compliment for the coloring if my images made her hungry. So I colored these using my Copic markers the donut was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black which is a Copic safe ink. I colored the "donut" with E31,33, and E35. The frosting was colored with with E37, E39, and E59. I added glossy accents to frosting to give it a shiny glazed look. I used a the same colors to make my tabletop. The plate that the donuts are sitting on is a die from stash that I have no idea where it came from--lol. Sorry about that. I used foam tape and my ATG to attach the donuts to the card. The glossy accents made the paper warp so they were a little difficult to adhere. The sentiment is stamped in Tuxedo black as well and I fishtailed the ends. The card itself is A2 size. This was a quick card and post as I am just starting to feel better. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a great Valentine's Day.

Kinda Sorta
Hey Stampers! Happy Wednesday. Welcome to Day 6. I know I am late but the weekend was crazy busy and I wasn't prepared. But I am back on the wagon (so to speak) again. Today's card uses another new set from The Project Bin called Kinda Sorta. I love this color scheme. It really shouldn't work but I absolutely love the bright colors! My card base is A2. All the solid card stock is from stash. I purchased packets of paper last year from my local Michael's that had different shades of green, purple, and pink. I stamped the sentiment and frame in Strawberry Slush from Stampin' UP!
The pattern paper is from Pink and Main, called My Heart. I recently purchased the die that I used on the pattern paper from Kat Scrappiness, the Fancy Stitched Border die set. It comes with the die I used plus four others. My final touch was some Doodlebug Sprinkles in the same lime green (happy accident there) and glitter pink. It is a pretty simple card but would be easy to recreate or mass produce. On the inside I stamped the "xoxo" sentiment from In My Heart which is also from The Project Bin.
I hope you enjoyed today's card. Thank you for stopping by. Come and create something with me.
