Hey Stampers! Happy Project Bin Wednesday! The stamp set I am using today is brand new and I LOVE it. I know it isn't a traditional Valentine card but its donuts and that is love. As crafters, we sometimes make a card and think bleh but with this card I was happy and smiling the whole time. I LOVE how it turned it out. It was like everything fell into place. This set is called Hole Foods and is available now in the The Project Bin store. I used the donut image and stamped it in Desert Sand by Memento. I started by stamping a donut in the center and then stamped donuts around it; making sure to stamp off the page a little bit. One of the stamps in the set looks the "frosting" for the donut and I used that and stamped it using Blushing Bride ink by Stampin' UP!. The final touch for the donuts was taking the sprinkles stamp and finish off the donuts. I stamped those in Watermelon Wonder also by Stampin' UP! The sentiments are also stamped in the Watermelon Wonder. The outside is "If Life's a Donut, You're the Sprinkles on Top!" and on the inside I simply stamped Happy Valentine's Day. My glitter hearts are from Fun Stampers journey and I will be honest I used those because my Nuvo glitter drops took a bad turn. LOL! The image piece is 4 x 5ish. The patterned paper is from My Heart by Pink and Main. The sentiment is stamped on a white piece of card stock and fishtailed on the left side. Then I framed it with a pink piece from my stash. I used the Pink Champagne Nuvo glitter drops (those didn't go rogue on me). This card makes a standard A2 card. I am so in love with this set. Last night when I was making this card, I also colored some to look like chocolate frosted donuts, I have a friend that I always send pictures to so I can get her opinion. Last night she told me she has to go find chocolate cause she wanted a donut. I told her that was the best compliment. So that is my card for today but before I left you go I wanted to you know about something fun that The Project Bin is participating in. Word Art Wednesday has bi-weekly challenges that go up on a Wednesday and go for two weeks. This two weeks, The Project Bin is the sponsor and will be providing the prizes. Here is a link to their blog I will be participating in this challenge (obviously not for the prize) and I will do a separate blog post for that project. Hope to see some of your designs. Thank you for stopping by!

Sending Hedgehugs (Valentine's Series Day 3)
Card 1 |
Card 2 |
Card 3 |
Card 4 Hey Stampers! Welcome to Day 3 in my Valentine's Series. Today I have for you, four cards using the same stamp set, paper pad, and basic coloring scheme. This adorable set comes from Pink and Main, its Hedgehugs. The paper pad is called My Heart. On card 2, I used the Puffy Heart stencil. I used Worn Lipstick and Candied Apple Distress Oxide inks on a piece of pink card stock from my stash. All the solid color card stock is from my stash, it is card stock I picked up at my local Michael's either when they had the sale on the single sheets or on the packets of card. All the Hedgehogs were colored with Copics: E59, 37, 35, 33, and 31. The hearts were colored with R24, 27, and 29. The cloud and the wings were B10 and B11. The circles were cut using the Wonky Wavy Stitched circle dies from Kat Scrappiness. For cards 1 and 2, I used Sweet Sunday Sketch #288 and for cards 3 and 4, I used Reverse Confetti Sketch #52. The only other embellishments were on card 1 and card 4. On card 1, I used some lime green ribbon from stash and on card 4 I used Lavender Lace Liquid Pearls The sentiment on card 2 was stamped with Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink and all the other sentiments were stamped with Oreo from Taylored Expressions. So that is my cards for today. I hope you liked and got some inspiration from me. Thanks for stopping by. Side note for some reason, the text has attached to that last photo, if anyone knows what the heck I did please leave a comment. Thanks Come and create something with me, Andi |

Wild About You (2018 Valentine's Series Day 2)
Hey Stampers ! Welcome to day two of my Valentine's Series. Today's card was super quick and easy for me. So the other night I was cleaning my craft room and gathering my Valentine related stamps and I found a 12x12 bag with some already made up card bases that all they needed was images and sentiments. So I pulled out my Love Monsters kit that I purchased from Taylored Expressions and as of this post the kit is back in stock. I wanted to show that you could use the pre-stamped images and make regular size cards. I colored my little monster pink and purple. I used my Pink Champagne Nuvo glitter drops to add some texture to the image. I framed the image with a piece of black card stock to tie it in with the card base. On the inside I stamped a sentiment from the In My Heart set from The Project Bin. I used "I love you so much I could squish you!" This card would be perfect for a child, grandchild, or even for your spouse. The base is an A2 size card. The patterned paper is from Doodlebug Designs called Love Bugs, the link is for a Love Value pack which is what I bought to get this paper. You might get this exact paper but it will be love themed. I stamped the inside sentiment with the Oreo black ink that came in Love Monsters kit. Here is a photo of the inside.
Thank you for stopping by and checking out day 2. I have a bunch of new stuff that I have gotten in the last few days so I am going to try and film a haul video to show you the exciting things I got. Hope you have a fantastic Friday.

I Could Squish You
Hey Stampers! Happy Wednesday! Today, starts the beginning of my first ever Valentine series. I will be posting cards Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from now until Valentine's Day with Wednesday's of course featuring The Project Bin. Now for today's project. I am using the In My Heart set. The ink colors are mostly from Stampin' UP!, I used Blushing Bride, Pink Pirouette, Strawberry Slush, and Primrose Petals. I linked to the ones that are still available. I also used Innocent Pink from Gina K Designs. Technique wise this is a very simple card, I tried to go for clean and simple but I discovered that I don't know anything about clean and simple. I used Pink Champagne and Honey Gold glitter drops, The couple of confetti on here are leftovers from my December Simon Says Stamp kit. The glitter heart is from my stash. The inside I stamped the saying from the set that says "I love you so much I could squish you.!". I attached the panel to an A2 card base and viola! I hope you liked today's card and thank you for stopping by.

Monster Love
Hey Stampers! Happy Thursday and welcome to Monster Love. I saw this kit on Taylored Expressions and bought it immediately. Now this particular kit is out of stock but they also have one called Fruity Friends. These kits are super affordable at $20. You receive enough supplies to make 24
Valentines. Plus you get four Prismacolor pencils in coordinating colors, enamels hearts and stars in coordinating colors, a stickles, a stamp that will stamp to/from, a block, oreo mini ink cube, and a mini Collage glue stick. I have also linked the 6 packs. You can get a six pack of the valentines with card stock for $4. So if you didn't want all the other supplies and just wanted the images for the same price of the kit you could get 30 of the monsters or fruity friends. The ones pictured, I literally made in about 10 minutes using only the contents of the kit. I will be adding them to a little larger white base and stamping the to/from on the back. I love these. The top photo, is screaming for googly eyes. I will be making some using other coloring mediums, so I will post those when I get them done. Thanks for stopping by.

Inside Out
Hey Stampers! Happy Hump Day and its Project Bin day! I am using In My Heart set today. I am casing a technique that I saw done by Jennifer McGuire (whom I secretly want to be when I grow up). Jennifer calls it In and Out cards. I didn't really copy her technique exactly but I think I captured the main point of the technique. My card base is top folding A2 card. I used the heart die from the set and cut it out randomly on the front of the card. For two of the hearts I stamped greetings from the set and traced the heart die with a pencil so i could fussy cut it out and make it just a bit smaller so it didn't catch on the die cut openings. With the third opening, I couldn't really decide what to so I die cut the xoxo using the other die from the set with red foil card stock from my stash. The ribbon is from Doodlebug and is from two collections ago so I couldn't find it any where to link, however any Valentine themed ribbon would work. I also added some clear rhinestones randomly on the front. I was happy with how it turned out. There are a couple of spots on the inside where you can write a message for the recipient. The card stock I used is from Stampin' UP! Melon Mambo, that is also the ink I used to stamp my sentiments. Sorry about my jewel picker being in the photo, but it was hard to get a good picture otherwise. I have also added a picture of how the inside looks when the card is open.
This is my card for today. I hope you will check back tomorrow, I will have some cute little Valentine's that would be perfect for the little ones in your life. Thank you for stopping by. Come and create something with me.

Surprise! New posting Day
Hey Stampers! Happy Wednesday! So you might be saying to yourself...Andi today isn't Saturday and you would be right. Denise decided to change up the schedule for 2018 so I will be bringing you Project Bin awesomeness on Wednesday's now! Today's card uses the In My Heart set. This set comes with 2 hearts, 5 sentiments, and two dies to cut out the heart and the xoxo sentiment. Side note, the heart die in this set will cut out the heart from Spencer's set. So I have been thinking about my card off and on all day, trying to decide what to make. I knew I wanted to use this set and of course make a valentine. So on the ride home, I remember a card I saw a long time ago and it was called a view finder card. What I remembered was that the making of the card was extremely complicated....complicated assembly is not my cup of tea. So I decided to just sit down and play around and see if I could get the result I was seeing in my head. As crafters, we know that what we see may not translate to a completed project; however today I got lucky. So the first thing I did was cut a panel to A2 size ( 4 1/4 x 5 1/2), then I took a piece of valentine themed paper and I cut that to 3 3/4 x 5. I adhered my patterned to paper to my base. I took the heart die from this set and centered it on the piece and then ran it through my Big Shot. I cut a circle with another die that measured approximately 3 3/4 of an inch. I laid the base over the white circle and traced the heart. Then I turned the circle and traced another heart, and did one more turn and traced one more heart. Once I had my "pattern" I stamped 3 of the sentiments, one in each heart. This is what it looked like after I stamped it. I had already made little notches in the edges of the circle to make it easier to move. Once I had this part done. I lined up the sentiment with the opening from the heart. I put a brad into the base and through the circle, that is my "moving' mechanism. The brad is the only thing holding the circle to base. I also took a photo of the back of the base once the circle is attached showing how much and where I put adhesive.
The patterned paper I used is from Doodlebug but it is from several years ago, the solid piece is a red foil from my local Michael's. I took some Nuvo Glitter drops, Pink Champagne and Honey Gold and randomly put drops all over the front of the card. I used the drops to also cover up the brad I used because it didn't really match the paper but you can't tell now. There are a couple changes I would make for next time...and once my sister sees this, there will be a next time but I love how it turned it. I included one more photo, it is of the inside, I used the xoxo sentiment and the glued the heart cutout to the inside corner. Thank you so much so staying with me. This was a long post. I hope you like the card.
Sorry about the shadow on the inside of the card but I didn't want to smudge the drops. Thank you for stopping by. Come and create something with me.

I made sure that they circle was moving easily. I took a circle punch and notched the side of the card so you could see the circle beneath and the little notches to move the circle. I did two layers of the Scotch foam tape to ensure good movement. My foam tape isn't super thick so if your foam tape is thicker you would probably only need one layer. Below is a photo of each sentiment. I used Happy Valentine's Day, I love you so much I could squish you, and my favorite place is inside your hug.

Be Yourself
Hey Stampers! Happy 2018! I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas and Happy New Year. Welcome to my first post of 2018 and Project Bin Saturday! Today I am featuring the Wise Women set. I did a gate fold card using this as my inspiration.
You might notice that the inspiration used a belly band but I did not. I found some magnets in my stash and used them to make a magnetic closure for my gate fold card and as you can I turn my card. The sentiment says "Beauty begins The Moment You Decide to be Yourself" which is a quote from Coco Chanel. I stamped the sentiment in Bermuda Bay ink from Stampin' UP! My card base is card stock from Taylored Expressions called Salt Water Taffy and the patterned paper is from their pack called Hello Happiness. The strips of patterned paper are 2x 5 1/4. One of my Christmas presents was a set of Nuvo Glitter Drops, I used Pink Champagne and Aquatic Mist. I put some on the sentiment piece and then on the light pink flowers in the patterned paper I put Pink Champagne as the centers and the dark pink flowers I used the Aquatic Mist in the center. I put a strip of Salt Water Taffy over the magnet that I placed on the bottom flap to disguise it. I used Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere my sentiment piece being careful to place dimensionals only on the top half of the piece. I haven't added a sentiment to the inside yet because I couldn't decide plus if I just want to write a message I can.
I hope you liked today's card. Please stay tuned as we have some exciting new stamps coming from the Project Bin. Also check out my new badge for the Project Bin design team. I really love this team and the stamps are phenomenal. Also starting January 31st, The Project Bin is going to be one of the sponsors for the Word Art Wednesday challenge, as we get closer I will remind you so you can participate if you would like but for now here is their blog, if you want to check it out ,https://wordartwednesday.blogspot.com/. So that is my card for today. Please come back again next Saturday where I will have more fun and goodies from the Project Bin.
