Hey Stampers! Welcome to another challenged from Southern Girls. The challenge is dark/a little spooky. The sponsors are Lia Stampz and I am Roses. My image is from Lia Stampz. This image is actual called Science but I used it for Halloween. I used some papers from a Doodlebug Designs release from two years ago, I think. I colored my kitty with C5,C7,C9 and 100. The mouse is C1, C2, the "potion" is YG23 and YG25. His protective eye wear is C2 and C5. I used green bubbles from Queen and Co. along the right side above the mouse. The spiderweb stamp is from the dollar bin at Michael's from a loooooong time ago. The sentiment is from the Fright Fest kit from Queen & Co.
Please check the Southern Girls blog for all the rules. I hope you will play along with us. Thank you for stopping by and I have you have a great day.

TIC TAC TOE= New Challenge at Southern Girls Blog.

Hey Stampers! I know it has been a minute since I have posted but today I have a new challenge for you from the Southern Girls Challenge Blog. We are playing TIC TAC TOE this week. Here is your board choices.
I choose Bling, Die Cut, and Ink. I will be honest with you. I never really understood challenges like this. When I started on the DT for Southern Girls, the light came on and now I love TIC TAC TOE challenges. So let's talk about the card.
I am in Halloween card mode. I love to make Halloween cards so when I saw this tic tac toe. I knew I had the perfect supplies. I used the Fright Fest Shaker card kit from Queen and Co. I looked at the Queen and Co site and it doesn't appear that the kit is available right now. However they a new great Halloween kit that would be just as fabulous. All the paper, shaker pieces, and stamps came in the kit. The only two things on this card not included in the kit, is the glossy dots in the top left corner and the black peel offs around the center image. The BOO die also comes in the kit and I cut it out of orange patterned paper. The bling colors I used were orange, green, and purple, and some black. The letters are good size so you can really fill it up with the bling. The sentiment "There is a scare in the Air", I thought complimented the BOO!
So that is my card for today. Please hop over to the blog and check out the rules for the challenge and play along. Krafter's Kart is our sponsor this week. Thank you for stopping by.

Dear Santa (Christmas in July)
Hey Stampers! Welcome to another challenge sponsored by Southern Girls. This image is from Oddball Art and when I first saw her, I knew I had to have this image. I know a couple of ladies who think of Halloween as their Christmas so I thought this was perfect for this challenge. The actual challenge is “a little bit dark”. I am not sure that I stayed inside the challenge but I love how my card turned out so that works right.
My image is called Sandra the Christmas Witch. So at first I wasn’t sure if I wanted to color her Christmas or Halloween. So I went to the site for inspiration and the card on the site did her in Christmas but with a little Halloween. I loved it so that is what I did.
So I colored the images with my Copics and here is what I used
Dress and hats R27,R29
Band on Witches Hat YR06, R02
Tree, holly, and stripes G07, G14
Hair and the familiar Y11, Y13, Y15, Y17 Boots C0 and C1, Broomstick and antlers E57,Broom YR24 and YR27.
For the tiny lights I used my Yellow Bird Glitter Drops from Nuvo. For the skull and the trim on her dress and the hats I used C00 and C0. As a finishing touch on Sandra, I took my glossy accents to make her lenses look more like real glasses.
I printed the image on some white 110 pound card stock. I didn't want to fussy cut the image because of all the little details. So I decided to try and make her look like she was glowing. So I used my Twisted Citron Distress Oxide ink first being careful not to get ink on the colored images. Then I covered it with the Splash from Hero Art which is one of the new reactive inks. I left just a little bit of the Twisted Citron showing which gives her the glow I was looking to achieve. For a sentiment I wrote "Dear Santa"... will a EK Success Journaling pen and on the inside of the card I wrote "I Tried" cause she is witch after all.
I used Christmas papers from my stash but to make sure they didn't clash, I covered them with the same inks that I used to create my background on the main image card.
So this is my project for today. I hope you enjoyed it and will play along with us for this challenge. Hop over to the blog to check out the other design team inspiration.

Stripes in flight.
Hey Stampers! Welcome to another challenge for the Southern Girls Challenge Blog. This week team Lou is bringing a stripes challenge. Our sponsors are A Day for Daisies and Krafter's Kart. So my image is obviously cancer driven. I fell in love with this image as soon as I saw it. My butterfly is colored with the ribbon colors of cancers that have affected my personally. I wish it was blank but as you can see it isn’t. I just googled cancer ribbon colors and then made my choices. I picked the following cancers to highlight. Breast, ovarian, melanoma, thyroid, lung, pancreatic, bones, childhood, and cervical. I framed the the base in pink and then again in black. These two colors represent breast cancer and melanoma. These two impacted me greatly as my mom died from breast cancer and my dad from melanoma. I don’t mean for this to be sad. This represents hope to me, hope that we will someday not need ribbons because they will all be gone. Please pop over to Southern Girls and take a look at the inspiration and play along

Add some ribbon, lace, or washi tape
Hey Stampers! I know it has been a minute since I posted anything. I started a new job at the beginning of the month and brain has been mush. But I am back today with another challenge from Southern Girls Challenge. This week is add ribbon, lace, or washi tape to your project. Our sponsors are The Paper Shelter and Krafters Kart. I am using an image from The Paper Shelter, Rosie, I colored her with my Copics. Her dress and headband I used RV34 and RV63. Hair is E33, E37, and E39. Boots are E55, E57, and E59. Skin is E21 and E02. I covered her dress and headband with my Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle pen. The card base is A2 size, top folding card. I used some Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink to give her a pink halo. I used a makeup brush that I purchased off Amazon. The washi tape is Carta Bella Flower Bouquet (which I discovered is discontinued) The card base is Cotton Candy from Simon Says Stamp. To give my washi tape a more finished look, I used my gold Peel Offs to frame it. The flowers are from my stash. They look like little pom pom's. The sentiment is from The Rabbit Hole stamp set, Sassy Sentiments. I love how this came together. The great thing about doing challenges, is you get pushed outside your comfort zone. I hope you will participate with us this week. Keep in mind you don't have to use products from the sponsors, you just have to add ribbon, lace, or washi tape to your project.
This is project for today. Thank you for stopping by.

Hoppy Birthday
Hey Stampers! Welcome to my pad! It has been a minute since I have posted. Things have been a little crazy and for awhile my mojo took a vacation so it was very hard for me to create things I liked.
Today's project is for Southern Girls Challenge. This week's sponsors are Lia Stampz and Three Button Studio. My image comes from Lia Stampz and is called Hoppy Birthday I printed my image on Neenan Solar Crest 110# card stock.
I watch a lot of videos on YouTube, as I am sure you all do too. One of my favorites is Kelly Latevola. She is always encouraging us to be brave. I have seen her hand draw elements on her cards. So I decided I wanted my frog on a lily pad but the image doesn't come with one so I drew one for him. I think it turned out great if I do say so myself. I colored everything with my Copic markers. I didn't right them down this time I am so sorry about that. I took some droplets from my stash that are the perfect green and blue color and placed them down with some liquid glue. I added some Ebony Nuvo drops to his eyes and some icicles to the party hat and the heart. I added some sparkle to the water but it doesn't show up in the photo.
So that is my project for today. I hope you will check out the Southern Girls Challenge blog and play along for a chance to win a prize from this week's sponsors.
Thank you for stopping by. Come and create something with me.

Make a Wish!
Hey Stampers! Welcome to another Try Stampin' on Tuesday guest post. I used the sketch only in this card. All my supplies for my card today came from the March Flavor of the Month kit from Scrapping for Less. The dots are from Pink and Main. I was going to use some Nuvo Drops in a blue that matched perfectly but it exploded. (I am so glad that nothing got on the card.). My base is a standard A2 top folding card. I added some Yellow Bird Nuvo glitter drops to the flames of the candles.
Which unfortunately didn't photograph very well. This card was super quick because I didn't do any stamping or coloring. My circle is approximately 3 1/2". The panel behind the circle is 2 1/2" wide and the length of the card base. Those two pieces are trimmed in red card stock to give some layers and separation so everything doesn't blend all together. My circle and cake are popped up with foam tape and that is all I really did. This card is ready to give to someone. Pop over to Try Stampin' on Tuesday and enter the challenge today. I have two more weeks as a guest designer so come back next week for the new challenge. Thank you for stopping by.

Let's Frame It Up!
Hey Stampers! Happy Thursday! I am bringing you a card using Peeking Easter Friends to showcase the new challenge over at Southern Girls Challenge blog. The challenge this week is to Frame It. So this is my take on that challenge. So first I colored my images with Copics. The chick is done with Y15, Y13 for the body YR16 for his beak. Just dots of R30 for his cheeks and E37 finishes him for his feet. My frame is made from pre cut Polaroid frames that I bought on clearance at my local big box store. I colored the frame with the YR16. The sheep is colored with C2 and C00. I used R30 again for the cheeks. I wanted the lamb to look as white as possible which is why I went very light on the C2 and used mostly C00. For this frame I used RV14. The bunny is my favorite I think because for some reason when I look at him I hear Joey from Friends saying "how you doing?" Lol. So he is colored with the same combo as the lamb but I put more C2 down and blended out with the C00. I put R30 on the cheeks and a little bit on the inside of his ears. His frame is colored with BV08. I used silver glossy dots and put 3 by each frame. The sentiment I love because it could be used for a birthday, Easter, Thinking of You, you aren't limited to just an Easter card. So grab your frame dies or that package pre cut frames you bought just in case and play along with this weeks challenge.
I hope you like my card. Thank you for stopping by

Easter Stamping On Tuesday

Hey Stampers! Happy Tuesday! Can you believe we are in April already, the year is flying by. This is my last month guest designing for Try Stampin' on Tuesday. It is my intention to do a project for all the sketches this month. To the left is the sketch inspiration for this week. The optional element was Easter Fun. I followed the sketch but I did flip it so it was horizontal instead of vertical.
For my image, I used Peeking Easter Friends from Gerda Steiner Designs. Is this not the cutest bunny. I colored him using my Copics. I used C5, C2, and C00. I used R30 for some pink in his ears and the little pads on his feet. I colored the egg with Y15 and Y08. I covered it with Yellow Bird Glitter Drops from Nuvo. My pattern paper is from the new release from Doodlebug Designs called Hoppy Easter. For stripes across the middle, I used my Purple Mirror Peel Offs from Love from Lizi. The three dots are Pink glossy dots from the Birthday Girl collection.
This card come together very quickly. The solid card stock is from stash. I used pink and purple. So visit Try Stampin' On Tuesday and enter a project for this week's sketch challenge.
Thank you for stopping by. Come and create something with me.

April Fool's Day
Hey Stampers! Happy Monday! I titled my post April Fool's Day because normally we have a new release on the first of the month for HeartcraftPaper but this month, Monica, the owner is taking a well earned break. But we are still blog hopping, we are doing the link party again which I thought was fun last time.
The image I used is Scent with Love . I printed my image on Neenah Solar white 110# card stock. I colored my image and cut it out. I used a top folding card base. My peony is is adhered to a piece of Coastal Cabana from Stampin' UP! I used Glitter Goosebumps from Queen & Co. The background behind my focal point is a piece of glitter card stock and two strips of aqua card stock from stash. I added a pop of color to separate all the aqua by using my Purple Mirror peel offs. I didn't use the entire sentiment I just used with love. The peony is popped up on Scotch Foam tape.
Check out HeartcraftPaper for all the amazing images, svgs, and tutorials. Click the link to join the party.
I hope you liked my post. Thank you for stopping by.

Try Stampin' On Tuesday #401
hey Stampers! Sorry I have been so quiet. I hurt back about a month ago and the pain until recently has made extremely difficult to sit in a hard chair but I am on the mend and bringing you a new challenge from Try Stampin' on Tuesday. So we are on sketch 401 and this is our inspiration for the challenge.
So for my card today this is the sketch we are using.. I did some of what I call faux mats. Instead of matting my elements with more card stock, I used my glitter marker from Nuvo called Urban Graphite. So here is my card for this sketch challenge. I used the marker around on the layer around the yellow square. I also used it around the card base before I added the green piece. The optional element this week is Frames. I didn't really utilize that element. The dragonfly, hearts, and little circles are from a new line from Queen Co for foiling. I used the Stick ems Spring (which is the dragonfly, hearts, and circles) along with the purple and blue foil from them. My gemstones are the iridescent bubbles also from Queen & Co.
My sentiment comes from the Sentiment Stackers Die#2. To create the oval frame, I used my Never Ending Oval Dies All of the card stock came from my stash. I stamped the "you're awesome in black ink on to a white piece of card stock and then trimmed it down to fit on the card.
For the dragonfly, I wanted some lift. So I took my Scotch foam tape and trimmed it to fit under the wings. It makes it appear like the wings are lifted. I really enjoyed this sketch and I love how my card turned out.
I will be back next week with another challenge from Try Stampin' on Tuesday. I am guest designing through April. I hope you will participate in this week's challenge.

Tea Party
Hey Stampers! Happy St.Patty's Day! I am bringing my new favorite card to make. I watched Jennifer McGuire's video on this card and I have made three already. I love it. Its called Pop-UP Shadow Box cards.
She gives several examples. I chose to use what I consider the easiest one. I am using images from the most recent release from Heartcraft Paper Alice, Cheshire Cat, and White Rabbit. I colored my images with my Copics. For White Rabbit I used N0, N2, and N4 for his body. R35 for the hearts on his shirt, Y17 for his watch and E40 for his scroll, and E55 for his eyes. Cheshire Cat I used RV14 and V09. Alice I used E00 and E000 for her skin, Y13,15,08 for her hair. B91, B93, and B95 for her dress and hairband. R35 for her lips and her eyes are G17. B99 for her tiny little shoes.
I hand wrote the sentiment with an EK Success Journaling Pen. The blue stripes are Blue Mirror peel offs from Love from Lizi and the glitter red around the inside of the circle is from stash. This card when folded flat will fit a standard A2 envelope.
You can find these amazing images and lots of others at HeartCraft Paper. This is my project for today and I hope you liked it. Thank you for stopping by. Come and create something with me,

It’s okay to be Bonkers
Hey Stampers! Happy Thursday! Today's post is going to be pretty short. I am currently posting from my phone as our home internet is down until sometime today. Today I am bringing you another image from the latest release from HeartCraft Paper. The Cheshire Cat is my favorite from Alice in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter would be my second. I love this saying. I wanted to do something a little different so I printed everything on Neenan Solar White 110# card stock.
I trimmed the sentiment down to fit into the 5x7 frame I found in my stash. I colored my Mad Hatter with my Poly Chromo pencils. I apologize but I didn't keep track of what I used. To give him a "mad" look, I added some Ebony Black Nuvo drops to his eyes, offset of course. I added some clear glossy dots and matted the frame with some white glitter card stock. I apologize for the shadowed picture but it was the best I had. I am going to bring him to work and set him on my desk. Them I will always have a smile.
So this is my project for today. I hope you check out the amazing products that Monica has to offer. This is my 9th release with her and they just keep getting better and better. Don’t forget we have a current anything goes challenge over on the Challenge Blog. Winners announced on April 1st.
Thank you for stopping by today. Come and create something.

It's Easter Time...almost
Hey Stampers! Here is my offering for today's Try Stampin'on Tuesday Sketch Challenge. Here is your sketch inspiration for this week.
I am trying to get an early start on my Easter cards so I decided to make this an Easter card. I used an Echo Park paper kit called Celebrate Easter that I purchased at my local Tuesday Morning. I will see if I can find it to link for you guys because I honestly have no idea how old it is. The optional element this week is monochromatic, which I didn't do. For my circle elements I used stickers from the paper kit and I used some of my Nuvo drops because I thought the front needed something. I used Yellow Bird Glitter drops, Calming Aqua Crystal Drops, and Supernova Dream Drops (these drops were exclusive to the Tonic Kit they came in so I can't link them).
And here is the inside of the card. I used another sticker from the sheet.
If you stopped by early in the morning, nothing is linked because our internet is out till Thursday. I will try to link the products from work. I am so sorry about that. This is my card for this challenge. I hope you play along.
Thank you for stopping by. Come and create something with me.

Just a Little Release Day!
Hey Stampers! Happy Friday! Not only is it Friday it is also release day at Heartcraft Paper. This month's release is Alice in Wonderland themed. When I saw this guy I knew I had to use him. Cheshire Cat was always my favorite part of Alice in Wonderland.
I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do for my project when I came across my Rainbow Thermo Deco foil and I knew what I wanted. I ran the images and sentiments through my laminator using the foil. I fussy cut everything out. Now normally I wouldn't post a photo with
that glare but I wanted you to be able to see the way the foil looked. I picked a teal card base and called it good. I didn't add anything else because there is so much shine from the foil.
You know what else happens on Release Day, a new challenge has gone live and we doing a blog hop to celebrate. As always, the winners from the challenge will be announced next month on Release Day.
Here is the order of the Blop Hop. You can also link up with the party link below. We are trying something new this month with this link so forgive us if there are "bugs" this time.

Try Stampin' On Tuesday Sketch 397
Hey Stampers! Happy Tuesday! I am sharing a new card sketch from Try Stampin' on Tuesday. This week’s challenge is running parallel with Retro Rubber and is this week’s optional challenge. Along with the sketch if choose to use stamps the challenge is to use a stamp set or stamp that is at least a year old.
This week I did not use the optional element. My pattern paper however is at least a year so I guess I kind of followed it. Lol.
I followed the sketch but I made it a landscape card instead of portrait. I used paper from Hello Sunshine by Doodblebug Designs. One of the things I love about their patterned paper is that there is usually at least one page that has “cut aparts”. I used several for my card today. I love adding layers or mats when using sketches. So I used some Doll Pink to frame my image. Also instead of making just plain banners I used two sentiments and one with hearts. The only other thing I added was some Nuvo drops to my flower centers. I used Yellow Bird and Honeysuckle. I hope you check out this check out the challenge this week. This is my card for today. Thanks for stopping by.
Come and create something with me.

Hello Spring...please
I am so ready for Spring. This past weekend we got 9.5 inches of snow and it has been really cold and I am done with winter lol. As soon as I saw the Sketch I knew I wanted to add flowers of some kind. I used pattern paper from Flirty Floral by Queen & Co. I cut both pieces at the same time, cutting it so they were 4 1/8 by 5 1/4. I matted it the pieces with a shimmery green from stash. My sentiment comes from a Queen
&Co. kit. I used the “Hello Spring” The pink flowers were in my stash. I took some Nuvo Crystal Drops for the flower centers, Dandelion Yellow, I used some yellow dots from my stash.
This completes my card for today. Check out the Try Stampin' on Tuesday blog for the link, rules, and prizes for the sketch challenge. Thank you for stopping by. Come back next week when I will have a new challenge from Try Stampin' on Tuesday.

Hey Chickies
Hey Stampers! Happy Valentine's Day! My card today features the new image Chickides from Heartcraft Paper. I love this image because I feel like they are looking to get a girl in trouble, your three best friends showing up on your doorstep kind of trouble. My base is textured yellow from my stash. The green stripes are the Green Mirror Peel Offs from Love from Lizi.
I colored these little cuties with my Copic markers. Using the following:
chicks: Y13, Y15, and Y08
beak: YR06
basket: E41,42, 43. Used my .03 Sepia multi-liner to create the dot detail on the basket.
grass: G14 and G24
I added some dew drops and some colored confetti to add some accents. And that is the card for today. I hope you will check out the HeartcraftPaper for this image and lots of amazing other things.
Remember you still have until 2/25/19 to enter a project in our current Anything Goes Challenge. You can also join our inspiration group HeartCraftPaper Gallery from the main page of the HeartCraftPaper store.

grass: G14 and G24
I added some dew drops and some colored confetti to add some accents. And that is the card for today. I hope you will check out the HeartcraftPaper for this image and lots of amazing other things.

I need a vacation!
Hey Stampers! Welcome to another challenge with Southern Girls Challenge. This weeks challenge is Animal Antics. The challenge sponsors are Newton's Nook Designs and Lacy Sunshine Stamps. For my card today, I used Newton's Summer Vacation.
The first thing I did was create my water. I used Distress Oxide inks for this. I used Tumbled Glass, then added some Salty Ocean, and finally I used just a little Peacock Feathers. I used some Nuvo Mousse in Aloe Vera to create my shoreline. I applied the mousse with my finger. I used my mini cloud stencil to create the clouds using Tumbled Glass again. I stamped my image using Memento Tuxedo Black ink because it is Copic safe. I used C3,2,1 and C0 to color my cat. I used C7 to create the spots. My tube I used RV34 and RV63. I used RV69 to color the dots on the tube. I took my Spectrum Noir clear sparkle pen to add sparkle to the water and one final touch I added some White Blizzard Nuvo Glitter Drops. I fussy cut my image out and popped it up with some foam tape. The yellow paper is from DoodleBug Designs Hello Sunshine. That is it for my card and I have to tell you I really want to be floating on the water with guy. If you would like to participate in the challenge please visit the blog for all the details and more inspiration from the design team.

Easter Egg-citement
Hey Stampers! Happy Wednesday! Today’s card features another new image from Heartcraft Paper. I used Easter Chick. I colored the image with my Copic markers. The chick is colored with Y06, Y08, Y13, and Y15. Beak and feet are R02 and YR06. The basket is E13,15, and 18 with some white gel pen highlights. The flowers are RV32 and RV63. Eggs are (r to l) BG13,15, and 18. RV63 and 69. The last egg I will be honest I don’t really remember all the colors mostly BV04 and BV08. I did white doodles on the pink and purple eggs.
My background was made using Nuvo Mousse and some Nuvo Glitter paste. The colors I used are Custard Cream and Pink Flame and the Glimmer Paste is Seaweed Quartz. I started by applying the Pink Flame in streaks across the card stock and then did the same with the Custard Cream. I added here and there until I had a blend that I liked and then I added the Seaweed Quartz. For applying both the mousse and the paste, I just used my finger. I wanted the paste to look like grass under the basket. The mousse also seems to have a little bit of a shimmer so in real life this card sparkles and shines. The last touch I used was some glossy dots. I put a small pink one in the center of each of the flowers and then two groupings of three, one yellow and one pink.
So this is my card for today. I love how the background turned out and Spring colors. I hope you like it. Remember you have until February 25th to enter a project in the February challenge on the blog. Want more Heartcraft Paper? Join our Facebook group.
