Naughty List

Hey Stampers!  Happy Friday!  Today I am bringing you my last Heartcraft Paper post for the year.  However, I was asked to come back for the first term of 2019 so we will have HCP in the New Year.

Today's project is a little different.  I made a 1/2 Christmas ornament.  I saw this idea in another group and immediately bought supplies to make my own.  I used the Naughty List image and he is currently FREE, no purchase necessary.  Just put him in your cart and check out.  The ornament was purchased off Amazon and I think it is meant for making your own bath bombs but it worked for me.  I bought the pack that had three different sizes but next time I would just buy the biggest size.  I colored my Santa suit with R24,27, and R29.  For the white parts I added a little C0 and lighten it with my blender.  I added some fake snow into the bulb so it is kind of like a snow globe.  The skin is E02 and E00  with some R20 for his cheeks.

The back says "it's all fun and games til Santa checks the naughty list".

When I bought the ornaments I also bought a packet of chip board to make the back of the ornament. I used some patterned paper from stash along with some mirror card stock to decorate the back.  I used some twine to make a hanger.  I also used some tinsel ribbon from my stash to hide the seam on the front of the ornament.

To adhere everything together I used Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.  And this little guy is ready to go on a tree.

I hope you enjoyed today's project and will check out the Naughty List at HeartCraft Paper.

Have a safe and happy holiday.  Thank you for stopping by.

Foxy Love

hey Stampers!  Happy Saturday.  I am bringing you a multi-tasker kind of card.  By that I mean that the way it is, it could be Valentine's Day, Anniversary, or just an I love  you card.  This is another new image from Heartcraft Paper's new December release.  It is called Foxy Kind of Love.

My card size is a little different today.  It is 3.5 x 6.  My card base is red (which is a Recollections piece from my stash).  My image is printed on Ultra Smooth card stock.  My mat piece is red mirror card stock that is also from my stash.  My only accessories are pink glitter sprinkles from by stash that by Doodlebug and I used a little bit of my glitter washi tape.

I colored the foxes using E13, E15, and E18, the darkest part of the boy's tail is E59.  The hearts are R08 and R27.  Her bow us RV02 and RV14.

Because I don't know exactly what I want to use this card for I did not stamp anything on the inside yet.  So that is my card for today.  I hope you will stop by Heartcraft Paper and check this image and all the other wonderful things that Monica has available.  Remember you also have time  to enter a project in the new Anything Goes Challenge #6 on the blog.  Winners are chosen on the first of the month when the new release debuts.  Also did you know that Heartcraft Paper has a fan page,  join here for fun and inspiration.

Sending hugs

Hey Stampers!  Happy Saturday! Today is December 1st which means its RELEASE DAY for Heartcraft Paper.  If you are following along on the hop that we have today, you are joining me from Tina Bickers Turner's blog.  If you would like to go back and see what you might have missed, here are the links for everyone.

HeartcraftPaper Tania Cordie Judy Markowitz Marcia Caradinta Alina Tanner Amanda Stevens Tina Bickers Turner Andrea Jacobsen--you are here!

The image I used for my card today is Sending Hedgehugs and how cute is he!  I did a little different color medium today.  I used my Spectrum Noir Colored pencils.  I used Cinnamon, Cider, and Paprika to color my hedgehog.  The inside of his mouth is Antique Rose as well as the hearts in the sentiment.  His nose and feet are colored with Expresso.  Now I know you are probably thinking how the heck did she do that card?  Well I will linked to the video I found.  This is called a Floating Pop Box card.  Even though it looks complicated, it actually came together very quickly.  Here is a side view of the card.

I love that it truly looks like he is floating!  My card stock and pattern paper is all from my stash.  The red base is from Recollections (this is the Michael's brand).  The patterned paper is from the Love Bug collection from Doodlebug Designs which I couldn't find to link so I would assume it is no longer available.  For a finishing touch I added Doodlebug Glitter Sprinkles and my card is done.  Now this card is about 6x6 just a little under that so it will fit in a 6x6 envelope.  You can sign your message on the back of the card.  This little guy would make any one's day.

In addition to it being release day, it also means that we have a new challenge up on the HCP Challenge blog. So if you love the new release, enter a project in the challenge, you have a chance to win images from the new release.

Also did you know that Heartcraft Paper has a Facebook group where you can get inspiration, meet new people, and have fun.  So that is all I have for you today (which I know is a lot!)  Please check out Heartcraft Paper for Sending Hedgehugs and many other great images, SVG files, and Digital Papers

A Little Christmas

Hey Stampers! Happy Thursday!  Today's card is for the new challenge on the Southern Girls Challenge.  This week's challenge is Anything Goes.  I have been making Christmas cards and planning my Christmas cards.  My card today does not have any stamping.  It is a card sketch and sentiments images from the Christmas Town 6x6  paper pad from Doodlebug.  My card is standard A2 top folding card.  I used Operation Write Home Sketch 170.  I really like these sketches because they already have the measurements on them.   On this card I used paper from both Christmas Town by Doodlebug and Jolly by Pink and Main.  My mats are Green Leaf and Schoolhouse Red  card stock from Simon Says Stamp.  The stripes of glitter are some glitter washi tape from my stash.  Simple quick card.  I have made ten cards so far using this sketch and the sentiment images from the Christmas Town pad.

I hope you will take a moment and enter a project in the challenge.  Thank you for stopping by today.  Come and create something with me

Without Change Their is No Growth

Hey Stampers!  Happy Wednesday!  Before I talk about the card, I just wanted to share some news with you.  This will be my final post for The Project Bin.  It is time for a change of the guard so to speak so I will still be here sharing cards and fun but I won't be a DT member anymore.

So for my final card with the DT, I used the North Pole set and some goodies from my stash.  I used Reverse Confetti card sketch #20 for my card today. I have been using card sketches for a little while and I love them.  They take all the guess work out of the card layout.  You just have to pick your stamps and papers.  I found Kristie Marcotte and she makes a ton a cards and almost always uses card sketches.  If the sketch doesn't have measurements on it, she will figure them out and provide them for  you.  So I have linked to her blog for the sketch that I used so you have all the measurements.   The pattern paper is from the Jolly 6x6 paper pad from Pink and Main.  The stickers are from my local Dollar Tree and the glitter washi is from stash.

I stamped my sentiments in Candied Apple Distress Oxide ink and my circles were cut using my Never Ending Circle Dies from Kat Scrappiness.  The card stock used to mat all the pattern papers and the circle is Schoolhouse Red from Simon Says Stamp.  So that is my card today.  I hope you will continue to shop The Project Bin as Denise has fantastic sets with some sassy sentiments.  Thank you for stopping by.

Come and create something with me,

Happy Thanksgiving

Hey Stampers! Its Project Bin day on the blog and because it is Thanksgiving eve, my card today is....you guessed it is Thanksgiving themed.

I used the fantastic set, Eat Pie.  I stamped the sentiment in Tangelo Memento ink.  To create the card and the layers I used a Mojo Monday card sketch #361. Card sketches used to really intimidate me but then I found Kristie Marcotte.  She makes amazing 6x6 card tutorials and uses card sketches for most all her cards.  She figures out the measurements and then she posts the sketch with all the measurements on her blog.  It takes all the guessing out of it AND makes fantastic looking cards.  My base is a side folding A2 size card.  The patterned paper is called Happy Harvest by Queen & Co. I cut my circles using my Never Ending Circle dies from Kat Scrappiness.  For the frame of my circle and the single strip I used a piece gold mirror card stock from my stash.  For a final finishing touch I used my Ripened Pumpkin Nuvo Crystal drops to add some extra interest and texture.

This is my project for today.  I hope you visit The Project Bin to check out this fabulous set and all the other sets that Denise offers.

I wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.  Thank you for stopping by.

Snappin Christmas

Hey Stampers!  Happy Tuesday. I am bringing you a super cute image from Heartcraft Paper called Snappin’ Christmas.  This little guy just makes me giggle with his grumpy face. I printed him on Ultra Smooth White card stock from Crafters Comapnion. He is 4.25 x 5.5. I colored him using my Copics. Here is what I used  for the Icing on the Gingerbread man G02, G07, G09.  His nose G28.  The Man himself I used E30,31, 33,35,37, and 39

The card base is white 6x6. The patterned paper is from an old Recollections 6x6 pad called  Bright Christmas.  I fussy cut my gingerbread man out along with the banner that says Have a Snappin’ Christmas. I wanted it to look a little whitewashed so here is what I used for Copics. E40, zE42, E43, and E50.

To give him a little sparkle I used some White Blizzard Nuvo Glitter Drops to go over his stripes of  “frosting”. I used some Woodland Green Nuvo Crystal Drops and added some drops to the banner ends. To finish him, I used my white gel pen to add some white dots to his cheeks  I did not stamp anything inside the card yet.

Just a reminder, you have until 11/28/18 to create and post a project for the Challenge 5 on our challenge blog. Winners will be announced on 12/1/18 when the next release debuts.   Did you know Heartcraft Paper has a Facebook group. Join us for inspiration, fun, and sneak peeks.

Season's Greetings!

Hey Stampers! Happy Wednesday.  It's Project Bin day!  I am using the stamp set North Pole for my card today!

My card today is a 4-bar card.  It measures 3 1/2 x 5. All the paper and card stock is from stash (working really hard on using my stash).  So my card base is an ivory card stock.  I used pattern paper from an old collection from Recollections (which is the Michael's brand).  The silver glitter is from Pretty Papers from Queen & Co.  I cut the glitter piece 3 1/4 x 4 3/4, this paper is self adhesive so I removed the release paper and attached the paper to the light blue patterned paper.  I stamped the sentiment "Season's Greetings" from the North Pole set inSimon Says Stamp clear ink  and used silver embossing powder which of course I heat set.  The snowflakes on the sentiment piece are from a snowflake from the same set.  Now its the snowflake at the top of one of the other sentiments from the set but I carefully cut it away so I could use it create my background.  To create my snowflake embellishment I used the snowflake from the Pinpoint Snowflake Circle Frame from Memory Box.  I cut one snowflake from the glitter paper and one from the same blue that I used to stamp the sentiment.  I adhered them together with liquid glue.  I offset them just a bit before the glue could dry and then I glued it to the corner.  I put a clear crystal in the center of the piece.  To add some extra sparkle (cause the glitter paper wasn't enough) I added a small clear crystal to the center of three of the snowflakes in my background.  The sparkle on this card is ridiculous but I am so happy with how this turned out. For one final finishing touch (and to cover a mistake that was making me crazy) I added some white ribbon that is silver edged to the bottom of the card.

I hope you will check out the North Pole stamp set and all the other amazing sets available at The Project Bin.  This is all I have for you today, thank you for stopping by.

Birthday Celebration

Hey Stampers!  Its Thursday and guess what else?  IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!  So knowing my post would be on  my birthday I had to make a birthday card!  I used Penguin Celebrations and the happy birthday SVG file.  So a little background, my favorite color is green, just in case you couldn't tell with card.

To start I printed this happy girl on Ultra Smooth card stock from Crafter's Companion.  I colored everything with Copic markers.  For my penguin I used the following
for her body C9, C7, C5, and C3.  For her belly and face I used C1, C00, and 0.  Her beak is YR16.  The necklace and skirt are G09 for the necklace, the skirt I used G07, G14, and G12.

The confetti I just grabbed bright colors and to be honest I didn't keep track.  The card base is a lime green from my stash and my card is 6x6.  The pattern paper is from Pink and Main and it is called Celebration.  I used some silver glitter paper from my stash to create the border on the image piece.  I used clear Sparkle pen on the skirt, necklace, and confetti.  For the sentiment I cut 4 copies of "happy birthday" from white card stock using my Silhouette Portrait.  I layered them all together using liquid glue.  For the top layer that is all glittering, I used a green sheet of glitter paper that I got from Queen and Co called Pretty Papers.  This is non shed glitter paper that has adhesive on the back.  Now I will say this, this very light weight paper so to make sure it would cut in my Portrait, I trimmed out a piece of the green glitter paper and attached it to a piece of white card stock.  I sent it through my Portrait to cut it out.  I added this to the top of my already glued together "happy birthday's".  Once it was dry, I attached it to the front of my card and that completed my card.   I love layering the sentiments like this because it gives dimension to the card.

Before I go, I want to invite everyone enter a project for our Anything Goes Challenge on our challenge blog.  Entries are accepted until 11/28/18 and winners are announced when the new challenge starts on December 1st.  Did you know that Heartcraft Paper has a fan group, join our Facebook group for inspiration and sneak peeks.

Eat PIe!

Hey Stampers!  Happy Wednesday!  Today is Project Bin Day.  Today's card features the set Eat Pie.

My card is a top folding A2 size card.  The base is made from Sweet Mango card stock from Gina K Designs.  My patterned paper is from  Echo Park called the Story of Fall  and I used my Blueprints 22 Dienamcis from MFT.  I can't link it because it is retired now =(

The ribbon is from my stash and I used some orange Glossy Dots from Pink and Main.  I stamped the sentiment "eat pie & give thanks" in Early Expresso ink from Stampin UP! Once the ink was dry (cause my ink pad was really juicy) I took the image of a pie from the same set and stamped it three times over the sentiment this time using Pumpkin Pie ink also from Stampin UP! My sentiment is stamped on a piece ivory card stock from my stash and I did a mat for this piece with the Sweet Mango.  For a final finishing touch, I took my clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen and colored in the whipped topping on the pie.

I hope you will check out The Project Bin for this set and all the other wonderful sets that Denise offers.  This is all I have for you today.  Thank you for stopping by.

Ho Ho Ho!

Hey Stampers. happy Monday.  Starting the week with a card featuring products from the Fully Loaded November kit from Creative Escape Papercrafting. This is my third month Guest Designing for CEP and these kits do not disappoint. You get a little bit of everything card stock, glitter card, mirror card stock, ribbon, twine, sequin mix, Copic safe card stock for coloring and stamping. I am linking to the CEP website but not the kit because unfortunately it has already sold out. CEP does offer a subscription service so you can make sure you get the kits.  But I want to give inspiration to those that have the kit.

So on to the card. I used  1/2 of the red card stock that comes in the kit. I made an A2 card base. I used the snowflake die from the Memory Box Pinpoint Snowflake Circle Frame set. I cut three snowflakes in the front of the card front. I used a panel of the white glitter card and adhered it so it shows through the snowflakes. The tag is part of the assorted tags from the Pebbles Cozy and Bright collection. I trimmed the tag, punched a hole and threaded some of the red and white bakers twine.  I used some of my Scotch foam tape to pop it up on the card.   I used the small snowflake image from the Oh What Fun stamp set that comes in the kit.  ,this set is by Lawn Fawn, to create a snowflake background using Versmark ink. I stamped Merry Christmas in black in the lower right corner. I took three red sequins from the Prancer mix and adhered them on the tag and then I tried something that I have seen others do and that is fill the sequins with glossy accents. I love the way it looks and I know it will stay put.

I am extremely happy with how this card turned out. I hope you will visit the Creative Escape Papercrafting website and check out all the amazing goodies they have to offer in addition to their kits. Creative Escape Papercrafting also has a fan Facebook page.  Please join us for inspiration and sneak peeks.

Toil and Trouble

Hey Stampers!  Today is a two for one bonus!  I also have a card for the new card challenge over at Southern Gals Challenge blog.  This week's challenge is called "Stuck on YOU!" We are encouraging everyone to use a sticker(s) on their cards.  I used supplies from the Fully Loaded Kit for October from Creative Escape Papercrafting.  I used a A2 card base, the pattern paper is from Carte Bella's Haunted House 6x6 pad, the sticker sheet is from the Echo Park Bewitched collection.  My sentiment says Bubble-Bubble, Toil & Trouble, Fire Burn and Cauldron Bubble.  I used one of the witch stickers and a couple of the banner stickers.  On the inside I used another sticker that says "Ghosts & Goblins Spook Galore, Witches knocking at your door, Jack-o-Lanterns shining bright, Wishing you a Haunting Night.  I used some glossy dots from Pink & Main to add some more interest.  So that is my card for today.  I hope you pop over to
challenge blog and enter a project for chance to win images from Kinda Cute.

Merry Kisses

Hey Stampers!  Happy Thursday and welcome to another release from Heartcraft Paper.   Once again Monica has knocked it out of the park with the new images.

I am using the Merry Kisses image for my card today. I used the small penguin blowing kisses and the sentiment. This is why I have come to love digital images I took this image and altered it to what I wanted for this project. I rotated him so he had a mirror image and printed it on Ultra Smooth White card stock from Crafters Companion. I decided to copy my fellow DT member Tania and use non traditional Christmas colors.  My card base is a top folding A2 made from 110# cardstock. It is from a Value pack by Recollections called Ocean. I colored my penguins using My Copic markers.  Here are the colors I used. Penguins C9, C7, C5, C3 belly is C1 and C0.  Hats BG13, BG23, BG34 band of the hat is BG10 and BG11 Beak and Feet YR16.  Hearts are R37.

Now I wanted to make a shaker card but I wanted a “window” so I used a circle die from my set from Kat Scrappiness and cut into the front of the card base.  I used another die from to create a frame for the circle, using some self adhesive glitter paper that I picked up from Queen & Co called Pretty Papers.  On the inside of the card, I arranged and adhered my penguins so they showed in my window the way I wanted.  I then used one of my clear card sleeves to create my pocket for my shaker bits.  The shaker bits I used are some new ones from Queen & Co called Jelly Gems. When making my pocket, I made sure to double check my adhesive application because I didn't want anything to show in the window.

Once I had the pocket adhered, I added my sentiment "wishing you" that I printed on the computer and fishtailed the ends.  I framed it with the silver glitter paper which by the way GLEAMS in real life.  To finish the front I used my Aquatic Mist to create dots of glittery color.

On the inside, I grounded my penguins with a half circle of the glitter paper.  I used glitter pen on the Santa hats and adhered all the little hearts.  The sentiment "Merry Kisses" comes with the image.

So because we have a new release that means we also have a new challenge up on the blog. Which is an Anything Goes.  Also because it is release day, we are also doing a blog hop, so if you are following along you arrived here from Tina's blog and if you want to continue on the blog hop, your next stop is Amanda.  If you start from the beginning here is the order.

Haunt It

Hey Stampers!  Happy Wednesday and Happy Halloween.  I have one final Halloween card for the season.   Today's card features a sentiment from the Haunt It set and the small ghosts from Cool Ghoul.  The sentiment says "if you've got it, Haunt It". So I built my card around the sentiment.  I used a top folding A2 size card in light gray.  My frame piece is Blackberry Bliss.  I stamped the sentiment in the same color and cut it out with an oval die from stash.  The house I used comes from the very first dynamics I ever bought from MFT, but it is retired the set was called Spooky House.  I used the black paper from a set that bought from Queen & Co. called Pretty Papers.  The paper just gleams in real life.  It is self-adhesive paper so I attached a piece to black card stock and cut out my house.  The pack also comes with a gold piece of glitter paper so I backed the windows and the door with the piece.  The ghosts were stamped on the silver piece from the pack and  I cut them out.  The fence also came in the same set as the house and I used plain black card stock from stash to cut it out..  For some finishing touches I used Chocolate Fondue Nuvo Glitter Drops.  They are dark enough that it blends beautifully with the card stock.  The inside I stamped "Happy Halloween".  Sad to have this be the last Halloween card already but now I can make lots of Fall and Christmas cards.

I hope you stop by The Project Bin and check out these two stamps sets as well as the wonderful sets Denise has to offer.  Thank you for stopping by today.

Calling All Witches

Hey Stampers!  Happy Friday.  Today’s card features products from the October Fully Loaded Kit from Creative Escape Papercrafting. I made this card for a girl at work who LOVES Halloween. I took what would have be a great Halloween card and turned it into the perfect Halloween birthday card. My card is top folding A2 size card. The front is a piece of gray shimmer card stock from my stash. I cut two of the spooky trees and three of the small bats using the black glitter card stock that comes in the kit. The sentiment on the front is one of the stickers from the 12x12 sticker sheet. The floral wrap didn’t go with my theme so I trimmed it off and used just the words. The inside is a sheet of the 6x6 patterned paper that comes in the kit. I saw this piece and wished for an entire pad of this pattern. The inside sentiment is something I printed from my computer and cut with oval dies from my stash. The recepient of this card was estatic and said it was perfect.

I am loving these kits from Creative Escape Papercrafting.  I have already received my November kit and can’t wait to share it with you. I hope you will check out Creative Escape Papercrafting. This kit is sold out but you can still sign up to get the November kit. These kits are jammed packed with goodies.

So this is my project for today. Thank you for stopping by.

Nice Shoes!

Hey Stampers! Happy Wednesday!  Today's card project features one of my favorite stamp sets from The Project Bin called Haunt It.  I absolutely love the puns in this set.  I used the big sentiment "I'd drop a house on someone for some nice shoes, too!".  This made me giggle A LOT!  So my card details are as follows, the card base is a dark grey, top folding A2 size card from my stash.  I used a piece of light purple shimmer paper from my stash to frame the base.  I cut two rectangles 2x3 with patterned paper from Fright Fest by Queen & Co.  I did a layer in black card stock.  The sentiment is stamped on white card stock using Wilted Violent Distress Oxide ink and framed with black glitter card stock.  I used the roof die from my Spellbinders October card kit to make the sentiment look like a house,  I cut a roof from both black glitter paper and the same paper as my rectangles and popped it up on foam squares.  I used five glossy dots in the purple color from Pink and Main for some finishing touches, along with tapping my clear Sparkle pen on my finger to make splatter.  I didn't put a sentiment on the inside but this card be used for almost any occasion.

So that is my card for today, I hope it inspires you to check out The Project Bin for this stamp set and other fabulous sets that Denise offers.

Thank you for stopping by.

Yay Yay

Hey Stampers!  Happy Monday!  Today's card features a set from MFT called Birthday Chick.  This is from a couple of releases ago but I loved it and was able to pick it up last month.  So this card is one that made for one of my coworkers.  The patterned paper is from Queen & Co called Pretty Presents. I used Doll Pink to frame my layers.  I used my Copics to color my chicks.  The chicks I used Y17, Y15, and Y13.  The cupcake wrapper is W1, the "frosting" on the cupcakes is YG25, R37. and Y13.  Party hats are B18. YG03, and R29.  The balloon is YG17 and YG25.  I used my Signo Gel white pen to add some high lights.  I used C3 to create come ground for my chicks.  On the inside, I stamped Make a Wish!  This card is the perfect birthday card because it is bright colors.  I love how this turned out and the recipient was thrilled with it.  For a finishing touch I added some confetti sequins and some clear Wink of Stella to the balloon and the party hats.

So this is my card for today.  Thank you for stopping by.  Come and create something with me.

Kinday corny

Hey Stampers!  Happy Sunday!  Today is HeartcraftPaper day!  Today's project features the digi-image Kinda Corny  My card is smaller than normal, closer to a 4 bar card it measures 3 3/4 x 4 3/4.  The base is lime green from my stash.  The frame piece for the image is piece of white card stock that I made orange by using my Tangelo Dew Drop.  I used the direct to paper method and rubbed the ink all the over the card stock until I had the look I wanted.  The black ribbon is 1/8 in wide, satin (again from my stash) For the coloring I used my Copic markers.  From top to bottom, I used W1, YR16 and finally Y17, Y15, and Y13.  The bow on my girl is YG03 and YG25.  For finishing touches, I added clear Wink of Stella on the both candy corns and the bow.  I also added 3 dots of Ripened Pumpkin Nuvo Crystal Drops beside the girl and 2 beside the boy and viola my card is done.  I didn't put anything on the inside but my thought was to write "but your mine!".

Just wanted to let you know that you still have a week to enter a project in HCP Anything Goes Challenge #4 and wanted to invite to join the HCP Facebook group, where you can get inspiration, fun, and sneak peeks of what is coming!

Put On the Pointy Hat

Hey Stampers!  Happy Saturday!  I am so glad to be crafting again.  Today's card features products from my October Creative Escape Papercrafting.  The kit is showing out of stock but sometimes CEP puts together more so I linked it just in case.  The image for this card is one cut a parts from the 12x12 sheet of card stock that comes in the kit.  I saw this and knew it needed to be its very own card.  I used a piece of black card stock that comes in the kit to frame the image.  The card base is the orange 1/2 sheet that comes in the kit.  I used some of the glitter ribbon as well picked two pumpkins and three ghosts from the sequins mix.  I used some Ripened Pumpkin Nuvo Crystal Drops. (This is the only product that did not come in the kit).

Now on the inside I had used one of the stickers from the sticker that comes in the kit BUT my naughty puppy got a hold of the card and chewed up the corner so I don't have a picture of the inside of the card.  I will have more cards coming using this kits and Sneak Peeks for the November kit started yesterday.  Check out the Creative Escape Papercrafting Facebook group to see sneak peeks.  This is my second kit and so far I am loving everything.  So this is my card for today.

Thank you for stopping by today.  Come and create something with me

Don't hate me!

Hey Stampers!  Happy Wednesday!  I am so sorry that I missed last week but I had been sick for about 2 weeks before I went to the doctor and I had bronchitis and needed to rest up.

So today's card is quick and easy and so cute.  I used Cool Ghoul for today's card.  The background was done using Versamark ink and the two ghost images from the stamp set on a piece of Blackberry Bliss from my stash.  I am trying really hard to start using the paper and card stock that is in my stash so everything paper wise is not new.  So once the background piece was done, I stamped the sentiment "Don't hate me cause I'm Bootiful" with Wilted Violent Distress Oxide ink onto to a piece of white card stock.  I used my set of circle dies from Kat Scrappiness to cut the sentiment and a piece of green polka dotted pattern paper. My ghosts are cut out using the dies that come with the set.  I cut them out from the other side of the green paper, so the ghosts are white with green polka dots.  I added some black gems for their eyes.  I used foam tape to attach my sentiment to the green circle.  I added the ghosts to the back of that piece to make it look like they are floating behind the sentiment.  I attached the Blackberry bliss piece to a white A2 card base that is side folding.  I took some purple gems and placed them around the on my background piece.  For a finishing touch I took my clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen and created some sparkle splatter over the whole piece.  This card would be perfect to mass re-produce, just changing the colors.  So this is my project for today.  I hope you like it and will check out this set and all the other fabulous sets over at The Project Bin.

Let It Not Snow!

Hey Stampers!  Happy Monday!  I am bringing you another great image from the HeartcraftPaper!  Today my card uses the image Let It Snow!  I love the look on this snowman's face. It says, I got something good in my cup!  So today I just did some simple Copic coloring.  I used R29 and R37 for the hearts, the hat band, and the coffee cup.  B18 for the blue eyes, with a dot of white gel pen, and E57 and E59 for the arms and finally YR16 for his nose.  I also used W1 for some shading and blended it out with my Colorless blender.  The ball on his hat and the snowflakes are covered in Honey Gold Nuvo Glitter Drops.  I colored the hat with my Clear Spectrum Noir Glitter pen.  I used Gold mirror card stock to frame the image and I used some left over Red Berries Specialty Paper to cover my card base.  I have been feeling the Red and Gold color scheme for Christmas cards right now.

So this is my card for today!  I hope you check out this image and all the other amazing products Monica has at Heartcraft Paper.  Don't forget we have a new challenge going on until the 28th of the month.  It is an Anything Goes Challenge, check out!

Pumpkin Spice and Fall Leaves

Hey Stampers!  Happy Thursday!  It is time for a new challenge from Southern Girls Challenge.  The theme of the  challenge is stripes and our sponsor is Newton's Nook.  So my take on the stripes was to do a "sun ray" pattern card.  I used different pieces from Echo Park's I love Fall which is from last year and I used the set Fall-ing for You.  I stamped the big sentiment  from this set with Pumpkin Pie ink from Stampin' UP!  I also stamped the pumpkin image and the leaves from the set in bottom left corner.  Stamping them in Pumpkin Pie ink gives it a tone on tone look.  I added some Ripened Pumpkin Nuvo Crystal Drops randomly on the sentiment and then around the pumpkins.  I used some metallic specialty paper from my stash to frame the sentiment and make it look more finished.  While I don't necessarily love Pumpkin Spice Lattes, I do love pumpkin pie, bread, cookies, muffins whatever pumpkin.  Fall is also my favorite time of the year so the colors I used make me happy.  My card base is an orange from my stash.  I didn't put anything on the inside so I could use it as a note card or just because card.  I hope you will join us in the challenge.  I can't wait to see what you come up with.

Thank you for stopping by.

Are you ready to Let It Snow?

Hey Stampers!  Happy Wednesday!  Thank you for dropping by!  Today I have a card showcasing a brand new stamp set from The Project Bin called North Pole.  I love this new set.  I make probably more Halloween and Christmas cards than other card.  So I can never have enough Winter/Christmas stamps.  This card was super easy and took no time at all to make which means it would be quick and easy to mass produce if you wanted.  So I will be honest when I was visualizing this card, I saw blue and silver in my head, however I am out of silver mirror card stock so I had to change my plan.  I think the finished project is gorgeous!  So I have a red A2 size card base made from Red Hot card stock from Gina K Designs.  My layers are Red Berries from Tonic Studios.  I love this because when you tilt the card the light catches the card stock and gives it amazing movement.  I used Gold Mirror card stock to frame the Red Berries.  For my sentiment panel I used Pearlescent Ivory Sheen.  I stamped the sentiment in Real Red ink from Stampin' UP!  Once I stamped the sentiment in the center, I decided that the card stock was a little bare, so I carefully arranged the image so I could stamp just the snowflakes from the stamp.

For a finishing touch, I took my Honey Gold Nuvo Glitter drops and filled in some of the centers of the snowflakes and then added some random drops around the card.  These drops are the perfect compliment to my color scheme.  On the inside I stamped "I'll be inside making cards"

I love that outside is elegant looking and then there is the snappy message on the inside.  Denise has really given us some fabulous stamp sets in the last few weeks.  I have been having a great time using all the new products.  So this is all I have for you today.  I hope you take a minute to check out The Project Bin for this set and all the other amazing sets that Denise offers.

It's Release Day for Heartcraft Paper

Hey Stampers!  Happy Monday and welcome to release day for Heartcraft Paper!  I can't believe we are already on our fourth release for HCP, it seems like we just started together.  I know I saw this every month but you are going to love everything that Monica has for us this month.  The releases just get better and better.

For my project today I did something different, obviously this is not a card but something I have been wanting to try.  Coloring on wood.  I used Snowman Carols and piece of snowflake shaped wood from my stash. I want to give you a little background about this snowflake.  My mom was extremely talented when it came to painting either from a pattern or free hand.  She would buy patterns and then trace them onto wood either using Graphite paper or tracing paper.   When she passed away we found a ton of wood that she had bought and never got the chance to use.  I couldn't bear to just throw it away so it has been in my closet for almost four years, I tell you this so you will understand when I say I have no idea where the snowflake came from.  However, you can get wood shapes at your local big box craft stores and that would work as well.

So I was channeling my inner momma when I did this.  So I printed my digital image just on a piece of copy paper.  I trimmed it down so it would fit on the center of my snowflake and then I grabbed some tracing paper (also my mom's) and was ready to go.  Here is what my pattern looked like.

So I lined this up on the snowflake and started to carefully trace it onto the wood. You can't erase any mistakes but you can cover most with your pencils.  So here is what the snowflake looked like when I was done tracing.

When I was done tracing I realized that should have line the image up under one of the points of the snowflake in staed of in between.  I can still hang this but it would have looked nicer the other way.  I am so happy with how this turned out.  I colored the snowman white of course.  His nose is orange, his hat and scarf are red and green.  His arms are brown and his buttons are black.  I used just regular colored pencils for this.  You could use more expensive pencils to get brighten colors I am sure.  But because I had never done this before I didn't know what to expect or how my pencils would be effected.  Coloring on the wood didn't bother the pencils at all, I will just need to sharpen them before I used them again.  So the last thing I did was take a Marvy Snow Marker and add a snow pile under my snowman and added snowflakes.   It  looked nice after the "snow" dried but the cool thing about this pen is that once it is dry, you can hit it with your heat gun and it will puff up to give texture and dimension.  So in the main photo at the top you can see that.  I did use a Copic Multi Liner to color the music notes and trace around his arms, scarf, hat, and to darken his eyes, nose, and mouth.

Because it is release day, that means there is a blog hop going on as well and release day means a new blog challenge where you can win prizes.  Below is the hop order so you can go check out my teammates amazing creations.  If you want more information on the Challenge pop over Heartcraft Paper and get all the details.  The graphic below gives the basic info.
