Holiday Card Series Day 15

Hello everyone. Welcome to Day 15. Today's card is simple but sparkles. Card base is white card stock. I used a Memory Box die "We wish you a Merry Christmas"  i cut it out if white card stock with a layer of Stick It on the top to make it sticky. Then I pressed it into red Doodlebug Designs glitter.  I also did one in green glitter. I used Doodle bug Sprinkle dots in shades of red or green. I later found red glitter paper that would have made it easier but I digress. If you used glitter paper these would be quick and easy to make. This die is available at SimonSaysStamp. Holiday Card Series Day 14

Hello everyone!  Welcome to Day 14 in the Holiday Card Series.  Today's card is an act of madness.  I bought this die from Simon Says Stamp and I bought it because I wanted to make wreath cards and it was cool and all the other excuses we as crafters use when we want something.  Anyway, I made two different versions of this card and I am going to walk you through what I did with the card on the left.  The card base is again Schoolhouse Red cut at 4 1/4 x 11 and scored at 5 1/2.  I ran the die cut through my Big Shot twice-once using white card stock and once using this red and silver glitter paper from my stash.  I took my white frame and glued it to the card base using a Tombow Multi Purpose glue.   Just a side note I don't always call things by their proper name so that is why I try to link everything.  Once I had the frame down, I started the process of meticulously glue the circles from the glitter paper into the right spot in the frame.  Once I was finished with that I stamped "Season's Greetings"  in the middle of the wreath with VersaMark ink and embossed with my Liquid Platinum embossing powder. The other card is done the same way except I used all red glitter paper for the circles and then I used the frame from the silver and red glitter paper.  I glued the frame to a white piece of card stock and then trimmed around the wreath.  I stamped the greeting in Real Red ink from Stampin' UP!  I adhered my completed wreath to a piece of the silver shimmer paper I have been using and then adhered that to another card base of Schoolhouse Red.   These both turned out fantastic but would not be quick and easy to reproduce for cards.  Thank you for stopping by.

Holiday Card series--Day 13

Hello Everyone!  Welcome to Day 13 in my card series.  Today's card is super simple but a little time consuming.  I watch a LOT of Jennifer McGuire Ink videos and she did one a while on inlaid die cutting so I wanted to try it.  The card base is from Simon Says Stamp and is Schoolhouse Red. The die cuts I used are from Neat and Tangled and obviously cuts out happy holidays.  The patterned paper is from stash.  I first cut the words out of the red card base and then again out of the patterned paper.  I took some Stick It adhesive and added it under the words that I cut out in the card base, then I simple used my words from the patterned paper and "inlaid" it to the card.  I added some glitter splatter and some Gold Pearl Pen to the front.  This also could be a quick, easy card to mass produce.  I have linked Jennifer's video. Holiday Card Series--Day 12

                     

Hello Everyone! Today's card features the My Favorite Things set called Cool Day, this set has matching dies,  I stamped the largest polar bear from the set and fussy cut him out even though I do own the dies for this set, one thing that I struggle with on the older MFT stamp sets is their dies are solid instead of just an outline so that makes it challenging to cut out the images and tonight I wasn't looking for that extra challenge (lol).  I did you dies to cut out the iceberg my bear friend is standing on as well as the sign.  I cut the iceberg out of a piece of silver shimmer card stock from stash.  I used C3 and R29 to color my sign and stamped the BRRR sentiment from the set with Memento Tuxedo black ink.  I added Spectrum Noir Sparkle in clear and used some glossy accents on the parts that had "snow" on them.  I used C1 and 0 to color the bear.  I put color under where I thought would be shadowed and then used the colorless bender to blend it out to give him a white look.  I used R20 for inside of his ears.  The hat and sweater were colored with BG10, BG15, and BG32.  I also added Spectrum Noir sparkle to his sweater.  The bear and the sign are attached with some foam squares to give depth to the card.  I took my Paris Dusk and Danube blue inks and created the background hoping to give my card a cold feel. I applied the color with a sponge and blended until I was happy wit it.   I added snowflakes and glitter splatter to the background and called him finished.  I hope you like today's card and the variety of stamp sets and materials I am using.  This is the first time I am doing a card series and hope you are enjoying it.  Thank you for stopping by.

Holiday Card Series Day 11

                       
Hello everyone and welcome back for day 11 of my Holiday card series.  Today's card is relatively simple but I love the impact.  My card base is white card stock cut at 4 1/4 x 11 and scored at 5 1/2.  I used my We R Memory Keepers corner rounder, using the 1/4 in side to round all the corners of the card.  The stamp set I used is from The Ton, which was in my Stamp of Approval box from last year's holiday edition.  This set is called Holiday Flourishes.   I stamped the Merry Christmas on the card first.  Then stamped the holly berries, then added a couple of different holly leaves around the berries.  I colored the berries with R27 and R29 Copics and the leaves were G07  and G09.  I took my Signo White Gel pen and added some white dots along the vein of the leaves.  Once the marker was dry I added clear sparkle from Spectrum Noir to all the berries and leaves, then I covered those with Glossy Accents from Ranger.  I love the look that the glossy accents gives the card with the little bit of shimmer under neath.  This card is very simple but would be super fast and easy to re-create for your holiday cards.  I thought there was a little too much white space so I added some red and green sequins to the card and called it finished. Holiday Card Series Day 10

                       
Happy Black Friday everyone.  Welcome to Day 10 of my holiday card series.  Today's card uses the CAS-ual Fridays sets Snowflake Greetings.  I used 3 ink colors.  I used Paris Dusk and Danube Blue by Memento and a silver pigment ink that I picked up at Hobby Lobby.  I  picked out the smaller  snowflakes in the set and started stamping a random pattern.  I did some 2nd generation stamping to give the illusion of more color used.  I also stamped some of the snowflakes off the side to give a more authentic look.  The sentiment is stamped in the Paris Dusk ink and glued random silver sequins on the card.  I used a dark blue card stock from a paper pack I got at my local Hobby Lobby.  I haven't stamped anything on the inside yet but will be adding a white piece of card stock to the inside for the sentiment.  I really love how this card turned out and will be making more of them.

Holiday Card Series Day 9---HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.  I hope your day is going well so far.  Today's card uses several different things.  First and fore most is the Snowflake die which is from Create a Smile.  This is a negative snowflake which means that you don't get a snowflake cut out, you get a snowflake imprint basically.  I got this die in the Snow Dance kit that they released last year and I love how this card turned out.  I used some card stock from stash, the card on the right is a light blue card base with the snowflake die cut from the base.  I took a piece of silver shimmer card stock that I bought a couple of yours from Michael's and attached it under the front of the card to give the snow flake a simmering back drop.  I adhered dark blue sequins around the center and on the center of the small snowflake that is also cut out by the die.  I used my Silver Chrome pearl pen to make the silver dots around the card.  The greeting is from Lawn Fawn from the Winter Scripty Sayings set.  The card one the left also uses the light blue card base but instead of cutting the die from that I cut it from a piece of silver simmer card stock and adhered it to the front of the card.  I used the blue sequins again, along with silver sequins.  On this card I put the silver pearl pen inside the center of the sequins.  The sentiment "sparkle and shine" is from the Bright Baubles set from Neat & Tangles.  This set was in my Stamp of Approval kit last year from Catherine Pooler.  If you are interested in getting on the list for the Stamp of Approval links when the kits release I have linked it here.  I loved mine and I got a lot of product for the cost.  I am going to sign off now.  Thank you for stopping by.

Holiday Card Series Day 8

Hello everyone!  So I am thinking the issues with Blogger weren't necessarily because of my laptop cause I am back on track.  Today's card uses a kit I bought last year from a company called Create a Smile.  The kit isn't available any longer BUT you can know buy the items separately.  The kit was called Snow Dance, the stamp set in the kit is called Snow Dance.  I used the Santa and the "have you been nice" sentiment.  The card base is made from white card stock. A standard A2 card with the fold at the top.  I used a piece of patterned paper from the kit and I am not sure if the site  has paper.  I colored my Santa with my DR3 and colored his gloves and boots are colored black.  On the patterned paper I took some enamel dots and covered some of the colored circles on the paper then I used my Christmas Red stickles and my Silver Chrome pearl pen to make "dots" on the paper.  I took a piece of plain white card stock and free cut a "hill" and I colored it with my clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle marker to make the "hill" shine"  I am not loving this card but I will let it "soak" in over night and I might add some things.  Thank you for stopping by and checking out my card today.

Holiday Card Series Day 7---several days late

Hello everyone!  I apologize for the delay on day 7.  My laptop has been making me crazy.  Anyways, these are all the panels I colored and turned into cards.  I used Real Red card stock for the bases on the tree, wreath, and ornaments.  The other two cards I used a light blue from a card pack that I got from Hobby Lobby by Paper Studios.  Colored the red with my DR3 and the green with DG2 from Spectrum Noir markers.  The sparkle comes from the Vintage set from Spectrum Noir Sparkle.  The gold and silver beads are from Pearl Pens.  Thanks for stopping by.  I will get back on track this week.  Thanks.

Holiday card Series Day 6

Hello everyone.  Day Five is actually Day 6 so it will be a bonus day.  I am having trouble with my laptop again which is why this is so late but anywho.  Today's project uses an already made panel from a set of water color cards I got from Simon Says Stamp.  Unfortunately, they are no longer available so I don't have a link for this product.  I have linked to some Christmas water color panels from Taylored Expressions. These are smaller in size but the same principal. This panel I used my Pearl pen in Silver Chrome  and my Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens.  I used Sea Breeze and clear.  I colored the words "Let It Snow" with the Sea Breeze and blended it out with clear sparkle pen.  I applied the Sea Breeze sparkle to the top of the panel and then used the clear sparkle pen to blend it out.  In the center of the snowflakes is a dot of the pearl pen and I put random dots all of the panel.  A word of caution (as I learned the hard way) use a light hand when applying the pearl pen or you will end up with large 'globs' instead of nice dots.  When the pearl pen dries it looks kind of like an enamel dot.  Once the panel was dry I applied more clear Sparkle pen.  Join me later today for Day 7 when I turn this and a couple of other panels in to Christmas card.  Thanks for stopping by.  Come and create something with me. --Andrea

Holiday Card Series Day 5

Hello Everyone!  Welcome to day five.  My time today was pretty short but I wanted to show that even if you don't have a ton of time or products you can make some quick, cute cards.  Today's cards are made from some of the stickers and Doodle Sprinkles from Doodlebug.  A few months ago I watched a Design Team unboxing of the new Fall/Holiday line for Doodlebug on Facebook live.  Of course I can't find the video now but Design Team member did a give away and I won pieces from the Here Comes Santa Claus holiday line.  LOVE IT!  Any way, the top card is on a Mossy Meadow base and I did a 4 bar card which is 3 1/2 x 4 7/8.  I used a sticker from the Here Comes Santa Claus holiday Christmas Collection.  I put the stick onto a 2 1/2 x 3 piece of Real Red card stock and then framed that with some Early Espresso.  The holly is made from some Doodle Sprinkles or enamel dots that came in my prize box and the inside simply says "Merry Christmas".  Card number two is another sticker from the sticker sheet.  The thin strip is actually says "merry & bright".  I glued that down and put the sticker on to the card front with some foam squares and added some Ice Stickles for some glitter.  Easy peasy.  The inside of this card also says "Merry Christmas".  I love the Doodlebug Designs products and especially love their line of pattern paper.  I can always find something I love from this company.  Thank you for stopping by and I will see you tomorrow.  I had said that today's card would be made using Casual Fridays stamp set but the best laid plans.  I will be using that set tomorrow.

Holiday Card Series Day 4

Hello everyone.  I have two cards same basic design.  I used the same stamp set Snowflake from CAS-ual Fridays, Real Red ink, Glorious Green ink both from Stampin' UP!  I stamped the sentiment which also comes in the Snowflake set.  I didn't do any first generation stamping it was all second generation.  I put three of the smaller snowflakes on a clear block.  Each time I stepped them, I turned the block about a 1/4 turn to try and very the pattern of the snowflakes.  These would be easy cards to mass produce because they use minimal supplies.  I again took the Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen and splattered glitter drops to give the card some shine and glitter.  Join me tomorrow for another CAS-ual Fridays set.  I hope you are enjoying my series.  I am having fun creating cards for everyone to see.

Holiday Card Series Day 3

Hello Everyone.  Welcome to Day 3.  Today's card features the Snowflake stamp set from CAS-ual Fridays stamps.  I got the idea from another card on Facebook. My base is a white A2 card.  I used Real Red ink and Glorious Green ink from Stampin' UP!  I stamped the "Merry Christmas" from the stamp set in Real Red.  The snowflakes are all in the set and I did some 2nd generation stamping.  This is where you stamp the image with full color and then stamp the image again before re inking the stamp.  I took some snow Stickles and put some "drops" around on the card and I used my Spectrum Noir clear sparkle pen to create the glitter splatters that are all over the card.  This card went much better than last nights.I linked to the products that are still available.  I am going to try and use a different stamp set every couple of days, so please keep coming back.

Holiday Card Series Day Two

Hello everyone!  This card literally made me a little crazy.  It is still not 100% right but I wanted to get something posted for day two.  I will post a link to the video I watched and will be watching again because I love this and want to get it right because I would like to use as some of my personal Christmas cards.  Anyway, this uses the the Christmas Cottage set from Concord and 9th.  This time I used just the dies that you could get with the bundle..  For the background on the Mossy Meadow card stock, I took my Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen to create a splatter to make it look like stars in the sky.  That is probably the only thing that went right for me on this card tonight.  lol.  Concord and 9th offers a PDF for how to cut your card stock for the die cut pieces.  Jennifer McGuire does an awesome video on this set and another one they offered.

Because I had so many "practice" cards that I am not going to give any step by step instructions but Jennifer's video is walks you through step by step.  So hopefully you will come back tomorrow and check out Day three.

Holiday Card Series Day 1

Hello everyone!  I am trying my hand at doing a Holiday Card Series.  This card using a new stamp and die set from Concord & 9th called Christmas Cottage.  I went super simple today.  The card base is 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2.  I used the large pine tree stamp and then cut it with the die cut.  I stamped the tree using Whisper White craft ink from Stampin' UP!  I wanted it to look like snow on the trees.  I also stamped and cut some of the smaller trees that are meant to look like they are farther away and tucked them in around the big tree.  I stamped the little stag stamp and the "footprints".  I stamped the merry Christmas sentiment from the set.  I bought this set because of one of the cards that I saw made with it and I will be re creating that card for tomorrow's card.  It is interactive and so cool looking but anywho.  I thought the card looked a little bare so I added the moon and cloud stamps.  I took my Spectrum Noir Sparkle in clear to cover the trees to make it look like glistening snow on the trees.  The inside sentiment is also from the stamp set. I stamped the images on Mossy Meadow card stock from Stampin' UP! which I don't believe is still available but if it is I will link it.  Please join me on Tuesday for day two and more cards using this gorgeous set from Concord & 9th. Fall Wedding Card

 I made this card for a friend who has a friend getting married this weeked.  Her colors are very Fall themed.  My card base is a piece of Cherry Cobbler from Stampin' UP!  I used a piece of Chocolate Chip also from Stampin' UP!  The patterned paper is from a designer series from 2 years ago and happened to match. The piece with the image is an orange glitter paper that I bought at my local Michael's store and the color was PERFECT.  I used white embossing powder.  The first time I did the embossing I thought the white was too stark on the orange.  So I rummaged through my embossing stuff and found a container that had Iridescent Ice embossing powder which I think I got from Stampin' UP!  I mixed it with the white and IRL it softened it alot.  The image is from Stamping Bella and it is called Uptown Couple Brett & Brenda get married. My friend loved it and I was happy as well. Thanks for crafting with me.

Another birthday card.

Hey Stampers. This is a card I made by request for a friend mine to give to her friend's daughter that turned 18. This is a double Z fold card and I love it and will be making more of this type of card.  I like the more interactive cards.   This card uses Number of Years stamp set and the Large Number  thinlets. The card stock is  Cucumber Crush, Watermelon Wonder, and an old one from last year called Cherry on Top that is not available any more but any birthday themed paper would work the same way. I also used the Balloon Bouquet punch as well  Window sheets for this card.  I linked everything that is still available if you hover of the word it will give you the link to click.  If you are like me you probably have a bunch stuff you haven't even used which is how I end up using products that available anymore but there are always easy substitutes. The other I added was to the one inch piece of Cucumber Crush,  I had some enamel dots that were a pink color and matched almost perfectly to the Watermelon Wonder color.  I felt like the strip need something I put about 8 dots on the strip also using one to cover the glue for the window sheet on the front of the strip.  I will link to the video that I watched to get the measurements and such for this card.  I hope you enjoyed this fun birthday card and thanks for crafting with me today.

Halloween Series #2

Hey Stampers! How is everyone on this glorious Sunday?  Today's card is the second installment in my new Halloween Series.  I love making Halloween cards probably more than any other holiday including Christmas.  This card uses a Crafters Companion set called Best Witches.  I love it cause it looks like things might have gotten out of hand for this particular witch--lol.  The card is slightly bigger than normal,   it is 5 x 5 1/2 made from Blackberry Bliss card stock from Stampin UP! which unfortunately was an In Color and is no longer available.  However, you could substitute Rich Razzleberry or Elegant Eggplant.  The image itself is stamped with Memento Tuxedo black ink on to Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth card stock.  I colored the image with my colored pencils and used Gamsol technique to smooth it out. I decided that the white was too white and I wanted to try and make it look like the fog was purple and all swirly.  I think I did OK.  I used Seedless Preserves, Wilted Violet, and Black Soot distress inks to create this look.  Honestly I am still finding my way with distress inks so just play around tell you get something you like.  Because every card needs some sparkle I used my Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens to add some glitz.  I used the Clear Sparkle pen for the flames and the bubbles then I used Fig to color the tentacles.  It is hard to see the purple sparkle in the photo but gorgeous in real life.  I love these Sparkle pens.  The Fig color is in the Vintage Hue set.  The set comes with 12 Sparkle pens and they are all gorgeous.  For some additional interest I added some black glitter card stock to the corners.  The entire image is adhered to a piece from Doodlebug 6 x 6 paper pad from Halloween last year.  Side note-yesterday I watched a Facebook live video of the unboxing of Design Team box for Doodlebug Designs showing the Fall, Halloween, and Christmas collections....oh my I would give almost anything to be on that DT. Anywho, back to the card.  I used some scalloped felt ribbon that is also Doodlebug Designs from last Halloween.  The  inside of the card uses the "best witches" sentiment from the stamp set and is again stamped in Tuxedo black onto a piece of the Ultra Smooth card stock.  I then used the Distress inks again.  I took a piece of the same patterned paper from the front of the card and cut a 1" strip for the inside.  I am happy with how this turned out and I hope you are glad that you stopped by.  Thanks for crafting with me today.

Birthday Wishes

Hey Stampers!  This is the birthday card that I made for my boss. This card is 95% Taylored Expressions products. All the card stock and patterned paper is from their May 2016 release. The stamp set is Party Pals and I used the matching dies to cut out the cake and candle. I used Copic markers to color the images.  My boss' favorite color is purple so that was my theme color wise. I used BV02,  BV08, V09,V20, and V17 to color the images.  The other dies that I used were TE Instant Photo Frames to make it look like a Polaroid photo. The paper streamers were cut from the Hello Happiness paper pack using the Skinny Mini Party Banners. The background of the photo is actually a Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen from the Vintage Collection called Boudoir to give it more purple and sparkle.  The candle flame is yellow, orange, and red with clear Sparkle Spectrum Noir over it. The enamel dots are from Doodlebugs Springtime collection. I added clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle to everything.  The sentiment is also from the stamp set and the inside says "be silly".  She loved it and I hope you do too.  Thanks for stopping by and stamping with me.

Halloween Series Card #1

Hey Stampers! I am running behind. I wanted to post this on Saturday but the best laid plans and all that. So anywho.  This is my first Halloween card of 2016. Halloween is my favoritwe holiday to make cards. This features a Stampin' UP! stamp, If the Broom Fits. I stamped the image with Versamark ink onto a piece of Doodlebug designer paper from the Ghouls & Goodies 6x6 paper pad. Then I trimmed it with a piece of black sparkle card stock. The base is cut from Tangelo Twist. It is an A2 card that is top folding. When I was assembling this card I thought it looked a little plain so I took my Best of Halloween set also from Stampin'UP! and stamped the witch hat and the Trick or Treat sentiment on the base in Versamark ink.  I adhered the stamped piece to the base and then took my We R Memory Keepers corner rounder and using thw 1/2" side rounded the top two corners. Hope you like this card.  Unfortunately both stamp sets I used are no longer available.   i will try in my next card to use stamps you can still purchase.  Thanks for stamping with me today.

Lifted Up

Here is another design team entry for the Tiddly Inks call that ends this Friday, July 15th.  Today's
card uses the Friends Lift U Up image, of course from Tiddly Inks. I love this image and had a blast coloring it.  First it is a standard A2 top folding card.  My base is Cucumber Crush from Stampin' UP!  I used a 4 x 5 1/4 piece of Springtime plaid from the Doodlebug Springtime collection. I loved how bright and fun this card turned out.  I used a piece of yellow ribbon that I just had on hand.  I typed "On Top of the World with You!" on my computer and printed it out and trimmed it down.  The actual image is colored using a combination of Artist Loft colored pencils, Spectrum Noir Essentials pencils, and Zig Real Color Water brush markers. On the flower, I used yellow and Spectrum Noir 022 and blended these using Gamsol for a smoother color and finished it using my Wink of Stella clear pen.  The little caterpillar was colored using 047 pencil from Spectrum Noir Essentials.  The larger caterpillar was colored using both 047 and 058 again using the gamsol to smooth it out.  I used the Pink (025) for the spots on both 'pillars.  Then I took my Transparent Viva Perle pen and used it basically like crystal effects.  I used a black pencil to create some ground for the image and smoothed it again with the gamsol. Design team call entry Tiddly Inks

Hi everyone. Today's card is uses a Tiddly Inks digital stamp image called Peanut Butter and Jelly Fish.  On a personal note, I love SpongeBob so this image made me think of him and jelly fishing. Anyway, our zoo has an aquarium with jellyfish and the last time I was there I saw this gorgeous orange jellyfish so that is how I modeled my image. I colored him using my Artist Loft colored pencils.  I used orange, light orange, and dark orange. I used gamsol to smooth out the color. Then I took my orange Zig real brush marker and colored the "head".  I wanted that part to be bright.  I took my clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen and went over the coloring so it was sparkly. This image comes with three little fish but I wanted

just the Jelly fish.  I trimmed out and around the fish.  I tried on another card to trim between the tentacles but that didn't work for me so I left some white showing.  I adhere the jelly fish to the card with an action wobbler so he moves...squeeeeee.  I adhere him to a water color piece that I did using Bristol smooth water color paper.  I used two of my Zig Clean Real Color water brush markers.  I used Blue and Cobalt blue.  I took the markers and made wavy lines on the card stock and then took my water pen and blended the color until I liked how it looked. Be careful when you use your Wink of Stella or your Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen because it will reactivate the ink.  Found this out the hard way.  I adhered some Doodlebug Sprinkle enamel dots to make it kind of look like bubbles and then adhere the water color piece to a standard A2 card base in Tangelo from Stampin' UP.  I didn't put a sentiment on it because I figured I could use it for just about any kind of card so I wanted to leave my options open. Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #35

Good Morning everybody.  I am here today with a new (or new to me) Sketch Challenge.  It is from Taylored Expressions and here is the sketch.

I am not sure what the Tic-Tac-Toe is about so I am sticking with the sketch.  Here is my interpretation of the sketch.

I used a new set from Taylored Expressions called Crafty Grumplings.  I was fortunate enough to take a class that Taylor taught at my local craft store called Busy Scrappin'. If you are local to the Omaha/Council Bluffs metro area you should check them out.   We made 4 cards and we able to shop at a "trunk" show.  Where they brought items we were using in class plus some goodies from the May release.  Which is where this set is from .  I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  I colored the Penguin with Smoky Slate marker from Stampin' UP! and then used Basic Gray on his belly.  I used Tangelo Twist for his beak and feet.  I colored the glitter with Elegant Eggplant and then used my Spectrum Noir clear Sparkle pen to make it shine.  All the products I used are from Taylored Expressions.  The patterned paper is from the Hello Happiness 6x6 paper pack.  The card base is Cookie Monster and the other solid is Lollipop.  How can you not LOVE the names of the colors.  I used the sentiment which also comes in the set.  I took my Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle pen and went over the card stock and then stamped my sentiment.  I punched it out with my 1 1/2 inch circle punch and punched the image out with my 1 3/4 inch circle punch both of which are from Stampin' UP!  I adhered the two circles with pop dots.  The final touch was I colored a piece of white card stock with my Elegant Eggplant marker and went over it with my Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen and then used another SU punch and made little stars.  I randomly adhered them down so it looked a little like they were coming from the jar he is holding.  I am going to feature this set this week because there are some really good images and sentiments in this.  I saw it and had to have.  I also purchased the matching dies, however, my Big Shot is in the "craft hospital" hopefully being repaired so I am with a die cut machine right now.  I am going to try and link the main things I used from Taylored Expressions.  You should hope over to the blog and check out the challenge.  They offer a prize and they don't require that you use TE products but of course the prize is a little bigger if you do.  Thanks for stopping by.
